🇪🇺 Europe’s power system reached a historic milestone in 2025.
For the first time, wind and solar generated more electricity than fossil fuels across the EU - a structural shift, not just a projection.
But this transition is not happening evenly across Europe.
While countries like Germany, Spain and Denmark have already integrated high shares of renewables, others remain more dependent on thermal generation, constrained by grid readiness and flexibility.
📌 What’s clear is this: the challenge is no longer how fast capacity is added, but how renewable systems are operated, balanced and coordinated.
