BaxSense™ is available first within Farsight® Premium, the evolved edition of Farsight®, where users can investigate their operational environment through natural-language queries and receive grounded, contextual and traceable answers based on real portfolio data.

In June, BaxEnergy launched Convera™ PPC at “The smarter E Europe” exhibition. The product is the next evolution of BaxEnergy’s PPC platform and the visible commercial output of 15 years building software for energy operators across more than 140 GW of capacity under management, 2,000+ generation units and 30+ countries.

Most plant controllers were designed when a power plant meant a single asset class -a wind farm, a solar park, a hydro plant, a thermal power plant or any other single-technology asset- feeding predictable output to a stable grid. Convera™ PPC, BaxEnergy’s new convergent Power Plant Controller has been designed for the opposite reality: a plant that combines wind, solar, batteries and grid services at a single point of coupling and is expected to operate them as one coordinated system and toward multiple revenue streams.
