ماژول دیسک ها در واقع جایگزینی هستند برای هارد دیسک ها، زمانی که هارد دیسک های مکانیکی به دلیل شرایط سخت توان کار کردن را ندارند.سیستم های که در معرض تغییرات دمایی شدید، تکانهای شدید، گرد و غبار یا رطوبت هستند. از سوی دیگر ماژول دیسک ها به دلیل حجم کم بهترین گزینه برای استفاده در تین کلاینت ها و سرورهایی هستند که با مشکل فضا رو به رو هستند. همچنین قابلیت جابجایی راحت و مقاومت ماژول دیسک آنها را به ابزار دست تکنیسین های IT نموده است. تصور کنید که یک ویندوز و تمام ابزارهای مورد نیاز شما بر روی یک ماژول دیسک SATA یا IDE ذخیره شده و همراه شماست.

Optical fiber cable
An optical fiber cable is a cable containing one or more optical fibers that are used to carry light. The optical fiber elements are typically individually coated with plastic layers and contained in a protective tube suitable for the environment where the cable will be deployed. Different types of cable are used for different applications, for example long distance telecommunication, or providing a high-speed data connection between different parts of a building.

What is FTTH?

Fiber to the home (FTTH) is the delivery of a communications signal over optical fiber from the operator’s switching equipment all the way to a home or business, thereby replacing existing copper infrastructure such as telephone wires and coaxial cable. Fiber to the home is a relatively new and fast growing method of providing vastly higher bandwidth to consumers and businesses, and thereby enabling more robust video, internet and voice services.

Connecting homes directly to fiber optic cable enables enormous improvements in the bandwidth that can be provided to consumers. Current fiber optic technology can provide two-way transmission speeds of up to 100 megabits per second. Further, as cable modem and DSL providers are struggling to squeeze increments of higher bandwidth out of their technologies, ongoing improvements in fiber optic equipment are constantly increasing available bandwidth without having to change the fiber. That’s why fiber networks are said to be “future proof."
