Here are some steps you can take to try to repair water damage to your phone

- Remove the phone from the water as soon as possible and turn it off immediately.
- Take the phone out of its case and remove the battery, SIM card and SD card.
- Dry the outside of the phone with a cloth or paper towel, but be careful not to push water further into the phone.
- Leave the phone in a cool, dry place, with the ports facing down so that water can drain out.
- Use silica gel packets, which are designed to absorb moisture, to dry out the phone’s internal parts.
- Do not try to charge the phone or turn it on until you are sure that it is completely dry.
- If your phone shows signs of water damage, such as condensation under the screen or corrosion on the charging port, take it to a repair shop as soon as possible.
