Are you a dealer ? If yes read this. Sometimes sales managers give you credit note for selling goods at rate lower than you paid for they tell that you will get credit note for the difference. Be careful as they give credit for only the rate difference and not the Vat difference.
Insist on it otherwise you are losing the Vat amount. To understand this correctly . When you prepare the list of goods supplied at lower rate. After making the list prepare a dummy purchase bill with same quantity and the rate at which you were billed and the vat that you were charged. This is the actual amount that you must get.
