How to install the Wifi Router , Simple steps.. Easy home remedy

with two methods

Step 1
Log into the router’s web-based management page
To log into the router’s web-based management page, please refer to:
http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=87

Step 2
Configure WAN Connection Type
On the router’s management page, click Network > WAN on the left of the web page:
Change the WAN Connection Type to PPPoE.

Step 3
Enter your PPPoE username and password which are provided by your ISP.

Step 4
Click Save to save your settings, then the router will connect to Internet after a while.

Step 5
Wait for a few minutes and check the WAN part on the Status page, if it shows any IP address (similar as below), that means the connection between the Router and the Modem is established.

Step 6
If there is not wan IP address and no internet access, please do a Power Cycle as the below:
1. Turn the DSL modem off first, then turn your router and computer off, and leave them off for about 2 minutes;
2. Turn the DSL modem on first, wait till the modem gets ready, then turn the router and your computer back on.

Method 2 :

Setting up a wireless router is straightforward as long as you have a PC with a wireless network adapter, as well as an active high-speed Internet connection. You might also need a computer with a wired network adapter and router-specific setup software, which is typically included on a disc packaged with your router or available for download on the router manufacturer's support site.
If you have a router labeled with a Windows 7 logo and you are using Windows 7, setting things up should be quick if you follow the steps below.

Set Up Your Wireless Router on a Windows 7 PC
1. Connect the wireless router to your modem using an ethernet cable.

2. Connect your wireless router to a power source. Wait about a minute, and then continue to the next step.

3. Click the network icon in the notification area; the icon should look like a series of vertical bars, or a tiny PC with a network adapter alongside it.
4. Select your wireless network from the list of available networks to complete the setup process. By default, your network name will be the name of your router manufacturer.

Although newer routers connected to Windows 7 PCs are generally simple to set up, some problematic wireless routers might require a little more attention. If you can’t set up your wireless router as explained above, follow the directions included with it. Chances are, you'll need to use one of the following two strategies.

Set Up Your Router Using the Setup Software
1. Make sure that your wireless router is completely disconnected from the modem, the computer, and the power source.

2. On your PC, insert the disc that came with your router, or download and run the latest version of the router's software from the vendor website.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions. The setup routine will ask you to connect components (including your modem and PC) in a certain order, and it may request that you temporarily connect your wireless router to a computer via an ethernet cable. You will also create a wireless network name and password at this point. If something goes wrong, you may want to consider manually configuring your wireless router.

Manually Configure Your Router Without Setup Software
1. Connect your wireless router to the modem, using an ethernet cable.

2. Connect the wireless router to a power source. Wait about a minute to ensure that your router is fully operational.

3. Connect the wireless router to your computer using an ethernet cable.

4. Log in to your router’s Web interface by opening a browser and entering the IP address of your router into the address bar. The IP address should be listed within your router’s documentation; if you can't find it, most routers use a common IP address such as http://192.168.1.1, http://192.168.0.1, or http://192.168.2.1.

5. Enter the default username and password, which you should find within your router’s documentation. Alternatively, visit Port Forward’s Default Router Passwords page.

6. Use the Web interface to set up a network name and password.

7. Disconnect your computer from the wireless router and then reconnect wirelessly. Finally, check out our router tips to speed up your wireless connection.

Caution: Be sure to use a password to protect your wireless network. Unauthorized parties can easily connect to an unprotected network, stealing your bandwidth as well as your personal data. Include a combination of letters, symbols, and numbers to build a better password, and don’t use words found in the dictionary. Don’t worry about memorizing your password; just write it down and file it away. The one-time minor inconvenience of connecting a computer to a password-protected network is worth the huge security advantage.

Tips for protecting your computer from viruses
Applies to Windows 7

Protecting your computer from viruses and other threats isn't difficult, but you have to be diligent. Here are some actions you can take:

Install an antivirus program. Installing an antivirus program and keeping it up to date can help defend your computer against viruses. Antivirus programs scan for viruses trying to get into your email, operating system, or files. New viruses appear daily, so set your antivirus software to install updates automatically.

Don't open email attachments unless you're expecting them. Many viruses are attached to email messages and will spread as soon as you open the email attachment. It's best not to open any attachment unless it's something you're expecting. For more information, see When to trust an email message.

Keep your computer updated. Microsoft releases security updates that can help protect your computer. Make sure that Windows receives these updates by turning on Windows automatic updating. For more information, see Turn automatic updating on or off.

Use a firewall.‌ Windows Firewall (or any other firewall) can help alert you to suspicious activity if a virus or worm attempts to connect to your computer. It can also block viruses, worms, and hackers from attempting to download potentially harmful programs to your computer.

Use your browser's privacy settings. Being aware of how websites might use your private information is important to help prevent fraud and identity theft. If you're using Internet Explorer, you can adjust your Privacy settings or restore the default settings whenever you want. For details, see Change Internet Explorer 9 privacy settings.

Use a pop-up blocker with your browser. Pop-up windows are small browser windows that appear on top of the website you're viewing. Although most are created by advertisers, they can also contain malicious or unsafe code. A pop-up blocker can prevent some or all of these windows from appearing.

The Pop-up Blocker feature in Internet Explorer is turned on by default. To learn more about changing its settings or turning it on and off, see Change Internet Explorer 9 privacy settings.

Turn on User Account Control (UAC). When changes are going to be made to your computer that require administrator-level permission, UAC notifies you and gives you the opportunity to approve the change. UAC can help keep viruses from making unwanted changes. To learn more about turning on UAC and adjusting the settings, see Turn User Account Control on or off.

Viruses, malware, and spyware often block antivirus and recovery tools from running. Corrupted files or drivers may prevent your desktop from loading correctly. If you can at least boot to a command prompt, you have a good shot of restoring your system with Windows System Restore.

Booting to safe mode and running System Restore is a trick that will get you out of many problems. Many people have used this technique when I first wrote about it in XP back in 2004. Microsoft has continued this feature, and it still works correctly all the latest versions of Windows including Vista and Windows 7.

1. Restart your computer.

2. During the boot process, press F8 to enter Safe Mode.
Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Press Enter.

3. Select the OS (if multiple boot options are shown). Press Enter.

4. Select your User Account.

5. A command prompt window will open.

6. For Windows 7 type rstrui.exe and press Enter.
For Windows XP type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

7. System Restore will open.
Select Restore my computer to an earlier time.
Click the Next button.

8. Select a date you would like to restore your computer to and click next.

9. You are done! Windows will prompt you when the process is complete.

10. Enjoy your restored computer!

How to Clean System monitor " LCD, LED , Touch screen and CTR" Also suggest in Mobile phones

"Use a dry, soft, lint-free cloth, preferably the micro-fiber cleaning cloth that may have come with your TV or monitor.
Use a solution of mild soap and water, if needed. "

1, Turn off the monitor. It's easier to see the dust and dirt when the monitor is off, and safer for you and your computer.

If you try to clean the monitor while the pixels are firing you may end up damaging the screen.
While the risk is small, there is the possibility of an electric shock if you clean the monitor while it’s on.

2, Clean the frame. Spray windex or another gentle cleaning solution onto a clean cloth and use it to wipe the casing around the screen.

The casing is made with durable plastic, so it's fine to scrub a little if you need to remove bits of grime.
Don't spray the cleaner directly onto the casing, since you might accidentally get some on the screen, and some of it might drip into crevices and get inside.
Clean the monitor's base, the buttons, and the back of the monitor. Wrap a corner of the cloth around your finger or a toothpick to clean out the hard-to-reach crevices.
If your monitor has any cords attaching it to the CPU or power, unplug these and give them a good cleaning too.

3,Wipe the monitor with a clean, soft piece of fabric. Microfiber cloth is ideal. This type of anti-static cloth doesn't leave a lint residue on the screen, and it's soft enough that it won't scratch the surface. Wipe off any visible dust, dirt and grime with the cloth.

Don't use towels, paper products or other scratchy cloth to wipe the screen. These will leave lint and may cause scratches.
Disposable dusting cloths, such as Swiffer cloths also work well.
Don't press hard on the screen or try to scrub it. You might damage it and cause discoloration to occur next time you turn it on.
If your screen is very dirty, rinse or change the cloth in-between passes. Clean gently and gradually.

4, For stubborn stains, gently wipe the spot on the screen. Use a gentle, circular rubbing motion to remove the spot, whether it's sticky food residue, ink or another substance.

Don't rub or scrub too hard.
Be patient; it might take a few moments for the solution to soak into the spot enough to adequately remove it.
To help the solution soak in, hold the dampened cloth over the spot for a little while.
Avoid the temptation to spray the solution directly onto the screen if the spot is stubborn.
When the spot has been removed, wipe the area dry with a clean part of the cloth.
