CRPF 185 Battalion Organises Mega Free Medical Camp at Bathena Khrew, Over 500 Beneficiaries Avail Services
As part of its Madadgaar initiative, the 185 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a mega free medical camp at the remote Bathena area of Khrew in Pampore, benefited more than 500 local residents.
The camp witnessed a large turnout of people from Bathena and adjoining villages who availed themselves of free medical consultations and healthcare services. A team of experienced doctors, including specialists from outside Jammu and Kashmir as well as local medical professionals, examined and treated patients suffering from various ailments.
During the camp, free medicines were distributed among the patients, ensuring that economically weaker sections of society received much-needed healthcare support without any financial burden.
Speaking on the occasion, CRPF officials said that the primary objective of the programme is to extend quality medical facilities to the needy, poor, and underserved populations living in far-flung areas. They added that such welfare initiatives are aimed at improving access to healthcare and strengthening the bond between security forces and local communities.
The locals expressed gratitude to the CRPF for organising the free medical camp and appreciated the force's continued efforts towards community welfare and public service. Residents described the initiative as highly beneficial, particularly for elderly patients, women, and those who have limited access to healthcare facilities.
The event concluded with a positive response from the public, highlighting the importance of such outreach programmes in addressing the healthcare needs of remote areas.
