More traffic is not the solution.
It amplifies the issue.

We believe more traffic = more conversions.

Marketers build strategies around it.
- Driving traffic through Google Ads, SMM, SEO, etc.

But traffic doesn’t fix performance.
Because the problem isn’t with the user.

The problem is on the website.

I reviewed a website spending ~$6K/month on ads, SEO & social media.

Traffic was coming in. Results weren’t.

Why?

Because there was -
No clear message (what, who, why)
No primary CTA
Too many sections, no direction
Weak trust signals

After fixing this,
conversion improved by ~20% in a month.

No extra traffic. Just clarity.

So, before you scale traffic, fix the page.

Because your job isn’t just to bring visitors.
It’s to make them act.

Different websites can have different goals.

But the outcome is always the same.

šŸ‘‰ It should move the business forward.

Some websites aim to get enquiries.
Some aim to drive signups.
Some aim to push users to explore deeper.

Different actions.
Same direction.

And every action leads to -
Growth for the business.

And if that’s not happening,
Something is broken, that you need to fix.

And it’s usually not the design.

The issue is always CLARITY.

If purpose and design is clear

- Sales are boosted
- Leads are generated
- Revenue is multiplied

šŸ‘‰ Here are few tips for a highly engaging website -

1ļøāƒ£ Start with a simple question - What is the purpose of my website and how that purpose should be fulfilled.

- Clarity starts with you and then delivered to users.

2ļøāƒ£ Replace heavy smart words with simple and clear words.

- Heavy words like ā€œtransformingā€ sounds unnatural and also hard to process. Easy words build connections.

3ļøāƒ£ Make sure your hero section is clean and tells user what is it for and how it’s helping them.

- Hero section sets the first impression and if user don’t get the message within 3-5 seconds, they leave.

4ļøāƒ£ Use one primary message and one Primary action per page. Don’t try to say everything at once.

- When you try to load information at once, the user processes nothing and take no action.

5ļøāƒ£ Before every form and button, mention why they should click it and what benefits they’ll drive.

- Even if you have shared the benefit throughout your site, still placing it just before the CTA matters.

āļø Bottom line āļø

You don’t fix clarity by adding more.
You fix it by making things obvious.

If you are a website designer,

you should be able to answer this.

What do you want users to do on every website you build?

Every website has it’s purpose.

CTA could be…
- Book a Call
- Buy Now
- Send Enquiry
- or Something other than this

Whatever it is…
Is it happening?

If no, this could be the reason šŸ‘‡

Like most web designers,
you might feel that the website is complete and ready to convert.

Because it has good design and clean layout.

But, 90% - 94% of websites fail to convert because of unclear actions.

This happens when the designer follows -
Design first, think later approach.

In my early career as a web designer,
I used to do the same.

But experience teaches you the most.

Now I start with one question -
ā€œWhat your users should do here?ā€

And every page follows that.

One purpose.
One Direction.
One clear CTA.

That converts and derives results you decide.

Understand this -

Good design connects.
Clear & guided action converts.

Follow ACTION FIRST, DESIGN LATER approach.

You’ll yourself see the difference. 😊

Harsh Truth šŸ’”

Users don’t care what your product does.

Until they know why it matters.

Let’s accept.
We’ve all done this…..

Building something great
Then explaining it by listing features, capabilities & outcomes.

And it feels right!

Because you know how much effort went into it.

But your user doesn’t.

And honestly, they don’t want to.

They’re not thinking:
ā€œWhat does this product do?ā€

They’re thinking…

- Will this make my life easier?
- Will this solve my problem?
- Is this worth my time or money?

That’s where most messaging fails.

People don’t connect with features.

They connect with outcomes.

So shift your messaging.

From features -> to outcomes
From product -> to user
From specs -> to impact

Talk about results, not functions.
Show impact, not just capabilities.

Make it about them, not you.

Because your product isn’t the center of the story. YOUR USER IS. 😊

āļø Remember -

CLARITY sells, RELEVANCE converts.

I’ve been designing websites for 12 years and sharing this with my experience -

ā€œUntil they clearly see why it matters to them,
nothing you say will matter.ā€

Designing a website for your business brings a lot of questions.
Especially the technical terms are sometimes annoying. Isn’t It?

In my personal experience,
clients are sometimes unfamiliar with few terms we use while discussing and designing a website.

And when we talk mostly end up discussion with hesitation.

We really don’t want that.

As a designer, our main quality should be empathy.
And when we miss that in conversation with our clients,
how are we supposed to put that in designs?

Here I’m trying my best to make it easier for you to understand the most used terms in the simplest way possible so that you can also enjoy the design process.

Watch the video to understand the Technical Term 3.
You can also check Technical Terms 1 & 2 I shared earlier in my feed.

Happy Designing! :)

What if I say the CTAs you are using are outdated and insufficient to bring any result??? 🫣

Almost all businesses uses the same strategy - that is, NO STRATEGY!

So I shared few CTAs that don’t just ask to take an action but tells why that action should be taken.

Here are 5 CTAs you can use to -
PROMOTE BRAND AWARENESS

1. Follow us on Instagram to unlock exclusive discounts

I met many Mr. Invisible! šŸ‘€
You build, but it never shows.

Just like you have a website -
but no one knows it exist.

I see this all the time.
A business spends weeks (or months) designing the perfect website…
and then forgets the most important part - telling people about it.

Your work doesn’t end after website design.
That’s actually where it begins. šŸ’»

So if you’re wondering why traffic or leads aren’t coming in -
maybe it’s time to promote, not just publish.

I’ve shared some of my favorite website design tips and website promotion ideas in this video - especially the 4th one is something you should do now.

Save this and stop being invisible online. šŸš€

Turning website visitors into clients is no accident!
Those sites are intentionally designed with clarity, flow, and purpose.

So, let’s talk again on this over repeated topic 🤭-
Why do some websites convert better than others?

I’ve seen two websites selling the same thing.
One gets leads daily, and the other barely gets clicks.

Why?????
Because - One makes visitors feel understood. 🄰

So it’s not always about appealing designs or fancy animations.
Sometimes, it’s how clearly a website speaks to its visitors.

Website that converts šŸ‘‡
Doesn’t just ā€œshowā€ - it guides.
Doesn’t just ā€œlook goodā€ - it communicates trust.

Because conversion isn’t luck!
It’s strategy, empathy, and smart design working together.

What’s do you think about this?
