IT industry forms association:

The city's IT industry has formed an umbrella body called ‘Tirupati Information Technology Association (TITA).

At a meeting held at Software Technology Parks India (STPI) compound here on Wednesday, IT professionals and business promoters said that the body would pave the way for promotion of Tirupati as an IT/ITES destination.

P. Pratap, Joint Director of AP Department of IT and Communications, Rajasekhar, Deputy Director of STPI and N. Bhaskar, Special Officer (IT) of TTD attended along with representatives of Venus Geo, Zraddhaa Information Services, Honeylabs, GLS Systems, Shovel Technologies, Techsol and Srinivasan Software Solutions.

The members decided to hold the meeting of TITA on the second Friday of every month. — Staff Reporter.
