Trying to become an AI powered data scientist in 2026? Learning Python alone will not prepare you for a data science or machine-learning role.

Employers need people who can work through the complete problem:

→ Clean and explore an unfamiliar dataset
→ Select and evaluate an appropriate model
→ Build clear visualisations
→ Explain the business value
