A hackathon organized by XtrudAR Community powered by Zilicon Technologies, supporting the main hackathon launched by Meta; Spark Worlds competition for World AR effects using Spark AR Studio.

HackARthon will be a warm-up for all participants, beginner or not; participating in the official Spark Worlds Competition.

HackARthon Cohort 1 was successful. We won $9,600🤑 combined, securing 10/300 global winners from HackARthon on Spark Playtime competition, held on April 2022.

After a two-year hiatus (due to the covid pandemic), HackARthon was our best event. The event lasted 4 days, with the first 2 days being online workshops and the last 2 days being offline at Kerala Startup Mission in Kochi.
Its main goal was to familiarise AR with students, professionals, and ordinary people in Kerala. We selected 50 participants for the HackARthon event from a pool of over 360 applicants. It was a big task, and it took us about three days to find the best ones out of 360 applicants.

After a 24-hour hackathon from April 13th at 3:00 pm to April 14th at 3:00 pm, we worked on a variety of filters, some of which were extremely amusing and others of which were extremely difficult to develop. We also held brainstorming sessions and breakout sessions in order to break the echo chamber between the participants.

It was an incredible session; thank you all for your support of this event.
