Breaking: Two persons dead, two rescued, one missing in Drung Tangmarg

At least two persons drowned to death while another went missing after five members of a family drowned in Nallah Ferozpora at famous tourist spot, Drang in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.



Official said that Five members of a family drowned in Nallah today, saying that a rescue operation was immediately launched and two among them were rescued while two other died on the spot.



They added that one person is still missing, adding that efforts are on to retrieve the body of another person

*Winning PAGD Candidate's Cavalcade 'Pelted With Stones' in Baramulla; Police Registers FIR*

Baramulla, Dec 23 : Female worker of DDC candidate, winning from Baramulla block constituency, 'sustained injuries' after her cavalcade came under stone-pelting in Hudpora locality of this north-Kashmir's district on Wednesday.

Reports reaching said that winning the PAGD candidate Qurat-ul-Ain Bashir from PDP was approaching towards her native village along her workers when the cavalcade was pelted with stones near Hudpora area in the district.

In the incident, some vehicles got damaged even as a female worker (name withheld) also sustained injuries.

The injured worker was removed to a nearby health facility, where her condition is said to be stable.

Meanwhile a police official confirmed the incident to GNS and said that an FIR number 217/2020 under sections 147, 323, 336, 354-B, 506 of IPC in this matter and further investigations set in motion.
