Soil monitoring systems in India like Fasal IoT, are expensive and hard to maintain.
It's a complete soil monitoring system that enables growers to remotely monitor soil moisture, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), temperature and other root-zone parameters using generic RS-485 sensors deployed throughout the orchard or farm.
Unlike many proprietary systems, Sankhya is built around open standards and the right to repair. There is no proprietary hardware lock-in. The platform uses generic off-the-shelf sensors, open-source hardware, and an AI-powered cloud dashboard that provides irrigation recommendations, historical analysis and per-tree insights.
The platform includes:
• Remote monitoring from anywhere
• AI-assisted irrigation recommendations
• Per-tree historical analysis and Uptake Index
• OTA firmware updates
• Wi-Fi mesh networking across the farm
• Support for generic RS-485 Modbus sensors from multiple manufacturers
• Open hardware designed to be repairable and expandable
I have attached below a short walkthrough of the complete platform.
