The pace of change in educational technology is definitely accelerating. In desire of chasing this change we have adopted many new things in SchoolUniverse software. We changed things both technically as well as conceptually, as a result simplified lot of things that School Managers and Software Users feel complicated to use, also improved the security and consistency of school data.

Here we would like to share few changes in School Universe software:

SMS: As in this year we analyzed very minutely how schools use SMS facility of SchoolUniverse and we came up with a new and friendly Interface for sending an SMS. As some times it is needed, send SMS to all students of school, now software allows it to do in a single click, thus saving lot of time and energy.

Fee Collection: Fee Collection is now 3 step simple process:
Set up Fee Category, categories can be like Tuition Fee, Bus Fee, Games Fee etc.
Allocate Fee to students just by filling one form with 5 required fields, mostly are dropdown fields so just need to choose option.
And we are ready to collect fee and print receipts detailed or summed up.

CMS: To manage websites we have simplified Content Management System by integrating media browser in which media (Images, videos etc.) can be saved and posted to website anytime. Also we implemented custom views for website pages which can be used to show special dynamic content.
Report card templates: Now report cards can be printed in any format by choosing provided templates we have added to system. Of course all schools do not have same format for report cards so any new template can be added if needed.

Payroll: In payroll we have added feature for generating Pay Sheets monthly.
Interface and Design: To make use of system easy and intuitive we changed the UI of School Universe. By implementing modern responsive design Software can be easily used from any device whether it is a Tablet or Desktop computer.
