It is a widely known fact that India's north eastern region has an abundance of natural resources. However, in most cases, over-extraction and unscientific extraction of these resources has led to large scale unwanted impacts such as loss of forest, soil, water, etc. By consolidating vast knowledge and resources, the Centre of Excellence shall lead the way in applying this knowledge to address the priories of Natural Resource Management.
