Starting with this session's series of Paper Discussions, DSG is hosting an open discussion on Efficiently Identifying Task Groupings for Multi-Task Learning

This paper presents a prominent work in the field of multi-task learning which itself is one of the rising fields among the various areas in the machine learning landscape. We would be delving into this paper from the ground-up and only a basic understanding of gradient descent and backpropagation would be suffice to join in with us!

DSG Recruitment Test (Pen and Paper mode) is scheduled for tomorrow, 1st April, 6:30-8:00pm.

The recruitment test for SDSLabs, PAG, and DSG will be conducted today at the old LHC at 6:45PM. Reach the venue by 6:35PM to make necessary arrangements for yourself.

Instructions for Recruitment Test
- Freshers will be required to get their laptops fully charged for the test and some blank sheets for rough work.
- Those at home will be allowed to give the test online. Stay tuned to our discord[https://discord.gg/dXkVEgTPu9] at 6:30PM.
- Our test platform has ML-based Audio and video proctoring with real-time face-tracking.
- You will be required to take the test in fullscreen mode, any attempt at exiting it will be penalized
- We log all key presses and take regular audio/video samples for manual inspection
- We have Geolocation + IP logging built into our platform, being on campus but not at LHC will be considered malpractice

The campus has just opened up and we're certainly not ones to rain on your parade. So, in the wake of the upcoming comedy show, we're postponing the recruitment test, date and venue will be announced soon.
For the folks at home, you'll be allowed to give the paper online, but be warned, if you're on campus we'll know.
So, have fun, cause we know we certainly will.

Do drop in and ask away the most trivial doubts that you might have about data science, recruitments and the group in general. Or maybe, just interact with your seniors and get to know them better.

Hello everyone!
We are aware that Cerebro is still facing some technical issues, and are actively working on getting it up again.

In the meanwhile, the problem statement, and the required data sets to get started with Beginners' Hypothesis 2022 have been released on our discord server (https://discord.gg/PTf6CMEj). You'll be notified as soon as the submissions have started.

The contest has officially started, and the deadlines will be extended if and when required.
