Our intervention with Child Labors and other children is through SMILE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, Bagbahara Dewar Basti (slum), Math Purena, Kabeer Nagar and Kachana basti Raipur. We have started education with the objective to cater the children who are unable to go to regular schools as they have to make earning for living. They are mostly rag pickers and maid servants. We have insured 67 Child Labors through Star Health only after convincing them with lots of effort. We are surveying 3 more wards, Chhattisgarh Nagar, Santoshi Nagar and Sonjhara Para at Raipur as we have observed Child Labors in these areas also. We are economically sustaining women of 246 villages of Bagbahara and BSUPs at Raipur through formation of SHGs and Income Generation Programs. We are also creating awareness on T.B. through Sensitization Meetings, skirts, dramas, Bullock Cart shows in villages of Bagbahara Block with the support of Project AXSHYA and RNTCP. NABARD has given us a project of SHPI at Bagbahara Block for 100 SHGs till January 2016 we have formed 65 SHG and conducted more than 45 IGPs. We do Anti Fire Cracker Campaign to create awareness regarding the pathetic circumstances in which Child Labor are exploited in Fire Cracker Industries and have appealed through Posters and Hand Bills to reduce Fire Cracker burning by saying, “ Kuch Diye Jayada Jalaien, Kuch Phatake Kam Jalaien.”
We have supported Go India Foundation, YMCA and other organizations in Blood Donation Camps and other likeminded activities. We have created awareness on HIV/AIDS through posters, leaflets and direct interventions involving FSWs and MSMs. We are one of the NGO’s in Chhattisgarh selected by HLFPPT for C.G. Organization Strengthening Program, and presently they have impaneled us for services. Municipal Corporation Raipur has given us BSUPs at Saddu and Kachana for Integrated Development Program; we are having activities related to SCDC, SSDP and SEDP. Pradhan Mantari Jan Dhan Yojana – Along with Vijaya Bank we have opened 200 bank accounts at BSUP, Saddu. We have Received CSR from National Seeds Corporation for Plantation at Bagbahara block. Through YP; NSDC, QCI, MORD, ISO along with Credibility Alliance has authorized SMILE SESVS for VTP in following courses: -

Above courses are started at our Livelihood Training Centre at Rajatalab, Raipur and Bagbahara. Our Project Unnayan has been approved by India Collaboration for 100 SHGs in 5 different Tribal pockets of Chhattisgarh State. We have initiated SMILE Renewable Energy Support Program a project on Renewable Source of energy- Solar Energy in which we have started manufacturing of small solar units by our SHGs providing them Livelihood and through the Solar Units we have facilitated the houses at places like Kandhadhap; a village of Bagbahara block of Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh where the electricity is not available till today. We intend to provide light for their safety and development, making new SHGs through it and latter start Socio-Economic and Health activities with them.
