Building an app is not the hard part.
Building the right app is.
A lot of startups start with features, screens and technology choices before clearly defining the problem, the user and the first outcome the product must deliver.
When I build a product, I think about it in this order:
1. What problem are we solving?
2. Who has the problem?
3. What is the smallest useful workflow?
4. What should be automated?
5. What needs to be built now — and what can wait?
Technology comes after that.
