Job Description:
As a Web Developer at Perfect Skills, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications that power our SaaS solutions. You will work closely with the development team to build efficient and user-friendly interfaces, enhance backend functionality, and contribute to the overall success of our products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on the talent management landscape.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related backend technologies.
Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code for both frontend and backend components.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and improve application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and product managers, to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Implement and maintain APIs and integrations with external systems to enhance the functionality and interoperability of our products.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices and propose innovative solutions.
Perform testing and quality assurance to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, deployment processes, and best practices.
Collaborate with the team to estimate project timelines and deliver work within agreed-upon deadlines.
Requirements:
Strong experience in web development with expertise in PHP and backend frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and troubleshoot technical issues.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
