OS X YOSEMITE GOLDEN MASTER VERSION

On Tuesday, Apple released the golden master version of its OS X Yosemite operating system to developers for testing. The golden master is pretty close to what we will be able to expect as a public release some time this Fall; probably in the middle of October.

As is customary with Apple's golden master seeds, Apple has kindly begun asking developers to start submitting their OS X Yosemite-compatible applications to the Mac App Store so that when the operating system becomes available to the public for download, users will be able to download updates to their existing applications seamlessly without having to wait on updates.

Apple encourages developers to take advantage of the myriad of new features in the OS X Yosemite operating system:

Images of parts that are claimed to be for both Apple’s anticipated 4.7- and 5.5-inch “iPhone 6” models were posted online recently. The interesting thing about the images is that they show designs that differ from not only one another but also from the current flagship iPhone (the iPhone 5S). The images which were revealed by Nowhereelse.fr point towards the 4.7-inch “iPhone 6” cable being straight while the 5.5-inch iteration has a slight curve. This indicates that the Cupertino California company will have varying internal layouts for its upcoming iPhones.

The identification numbers that are on the cables match up with numbers found in previous leaks and parts from Apple. This makes the images a bit more believable as there does appear to be some consistency. Another part of the image revealed that the 4.7-inch iPhone model will reportedly be sporting an induction flex cable. This indicates that the photo sensor may not be a part of the cable in the upcoming iPhone.

As the next-gen iPhone comes closer to being announced and therefore released, we’ll be hearing an increasing amount of rumors, seeing an increasing amount of leaked parts, and hearing about varying speculation. Factories in the East are said to be ramping up production in anticipation for the upcoming launch, a move which wouldn’t be a surprise as this occurs a few months before every large product launch.

Apple is set to unveil its next iPhone in two variations, the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch formats at a media event in September. Recent speculation is pointing towards an October 14th device release. We’ll have to wait and see what turns out to be true though.

A recent report released from Asia, claims that Foxconn, Apple’s partner supplier, is getting ready for mass production of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 sometime this month. However, the 5.5-inch model is looking at mid-August mass production. Taiwan’s Economic Daily News has reported that the mass production of Apple’s smaller screened iPhone will start production in the third week of July with the bigger screened iPhone starting in the second week of August. Another Chinese news service was cited about the possible hiring of 100,000 new workers due to the high demand for the upcoming devices

Rumors are also going around saying that Foxcoon may ne installing automated robots called “Foxbots” in the next generation iPhone, so that it can perform locking screws and polishing parts. There has been a lot of back and forth with when the 5.5-inch iPhone would get released. It started off saying it would get released the same time as the 4.7-inch iPhone, then it was delayed to late 2014, then to early 2015, and finally back to 2014. Now, both devices are expected to launch in 2014, but if any difficulty occurs during the production of the 5.5-inch, it would get pushed back again.

As we get closer to the release date of the iPhone 6, more and more rumors have been surfacing the web. Recent rumors of the device’s launch date claims September 19th or the 25th to be the iPhone 6 release date
