At Periwinkle Technologies, our patented, clinically and operationally validated, FDA and other regulatory approved Smart Scope®️ CX is designed for screening and triaging cervical cancer at the point of care. Built through close collaboration with academia, government, health workers, and implementation partners, it helps bring faster, more objective, and more accessible care to women. Cervical cancer is not only an India challenge - it is a global women’s health challenge.
Bharat Innovates gives us an important opportunity to take this Indian innovation to Europe, the global South, and other international markets, while building collaborations that can improve access to timely screening and care worldwide and to scale an Indian innovation that is affordable, high-impact, and built for real-world health systems. From 300+ startups across India to a real-world pilot at GGH Guntur — Periwinkle Technologies is proud to be named First Runner-Up at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Innovation Challenge.

This recognition is a strong validation of Smart Scope® CX and its potential to make AI-enabled cervical cancer screening and triage more accessible, objective, and scalable within public healthcare systems.

The challenge was especially meaningful because it went beyond presentations. It gave innovators the opportunity to demonstrate solutions in real clinical environments, with evaluation focused on scientific validity, implementation readiness, and public health relevance.

We are deeply grateful to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu sir, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda sir, Lokesh Nara sir, GGH Guntur, Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) AP , and all clinical, healthcare, and public health stakeholders who supported this initiative with immense dedication.
