The Saradha Gangadharan College founded by the Sri Saradha Gangadharan Educational Trust, Pondicherry, started functioning from the academic year 2001-2002. Swaminathan the founder chairman promoted this institution in the year 2001 by giving 10 acres of land to the institution. Saradha Gangadharan College is affiliated to Pondicherry University.The college offers eight Under-Graduate courses. B.S

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBLEM: The Emblem of the Saradha Gangadharan College depicts the lamp of knowledge flanked by the Bhagavad-Gita and a swan. Knowledge to which an educational institution has to be devoted, kindles in one the desire for “Truth” and “Goodness”. “Truth” is here symbolized by the Bhagavad-Gita, the universal song and “Goodness” by the swan. The motto meaning “For Truth and Goodness”, is inscribed below the emblem in Tamil, Sanskrit and French versions.
