Wipro Infrastructure Management School (WIMS), one of the Work integrated Learning Programs offered by Wipro, aims at preparing fresh BCA and B.Sc. graduates for IT infrastructure Management services.

It is an effort where training in Information Technology/System Engineering is offered to the students with practical exposure to the Infrastructure Management Service industry.

These programs register every student for an 8 semester Wipro sponsored M. Tech course with one of the Top Universities. Candidates will get to work on live projects and earn a monthly stipend. Upon successful completion of the M. Tech program, the students will be absorbed as full time employees of Wipro.

Online registration is a two-step process wherein the Candidate will have to do a Pre-registration by clicking the above link. Post registration, candidate can click on the link "Click here to update CAM form details".

Instructions to Pre-registration and submission of CAM Form:

Step 1: Candidate logs in to the Registration link and fills details.
Step 2: Candidate should mandatorily upload his/her scanned photo in the registration page (photo size should be less than 50KB).
Step 3: Post providing mandatory details and uploading scanned photograph, candidate should click on "SAVE & CONTINUE REGISTRATION".
Step 4: After registration candidates would be re-directed to the CAM Form.
Step 5: Candidate should fill all the relevant fields in the CAM Form and click on 'Submit' button to submit the form.

Important Note: Candidate can also login to Candidate desktop and update the CAM form post first level registration

Service Agreement

On Joining, candidates would be required to sign a service agreement which is applicable for 60 Months post completion of the training.

Job Description QA Engineer - Big Data Analytics

Verizon Corporate Technology's Big Data Analytics Group is looking for Quality Assurance engineer. You will be part of the VZLabs team responsible for testing different applications, defining and creating a test automation framework, writing and executing automated tests scripts in a complex web environment.

Responsibilities

Test the quality of data and applications prior to and during implementation of various projects.
Document the results of tests and review any defects with developers for resolution.
Collaborate with developers early on in the testing process to develop test plans and write test cases and scripts. Perform functional, Integration and system testing of applications and reports.
Assist in deployment and support multiple concurrent releases through various test environments.
Desired Profile Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of QA Engineer experience
Strong knowledge of software testing processes with QA reporting mechanisms
2 + year experience with producing scripts using automation tools (i.e. QTP, Selenium, etc.)
Proven experience with any of the Scripting Languages - TestNG, Java, VBScripts , Python or Ruby
Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
Experience with maintaining and supporting build and test environments
A solid understanding of common software development practices and tools

Desired Skills/Experience

Comfortable with Agile software development methodologies
Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem solving
Experience working with version control systems such as Git or Subversion
Experience in Testing BI & DWH technologies and Analytics is a plus
