*కన్నబిడ్డల్ని ఎలా పెంచాలో ఒక కథానిక రూపంలో*

ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు రెండు వేరు వేరు ఇళ్ళలో ఉండే వాళ్ళు. ఆ రెండిళ్ళ మధ్య ఒక గోడ మాvత్రం ఉండేది. ఒకరు రిటైర్ అయిన పెద్దమనిషి, మరొకరు ఒక యువకుడు.

ఆ ఇద్దరు ఒకే లాంటి మొక్కలు నాటి ఇంటికి ఇరు వైపులా పెంచడం మొదలుపెట్టారు.

ఆ యువకుడు చెట్లకి చాలా నీళ్ళు ఎరువు ఇవ్వసాగాడు. కాని, ఆ పెద్దమనిషి కాస్తంత ఎరువు కొన్ని నీళ్లు ఇచ్చేవాడు.

కొంతకాలానికి ఆ యువకుడు నాటిన మొక్క పచ్చగా ఆకులతో నిండుగా తయారయింది.

ఇక ఆ పెద్దమనిషి నాటిన మొక్క అంత ఎక్కువగా కాక పోయిన బలంగా నిండుగా అయింది.

ఒక రాత్రి ఈదురు గాలులతో కూడిన వర్షం కురిసింది.

మర్నాడు ఉదయం ఆ ఇద్దరు వాళ్ళు నాటిన మొక్కల పరిస్థితి ఎలా ఉందా అని చూడడానికి బయటకు వచ్చ్చారు.

ఆ యువకుడు అంత జాగ్రత్తగా పెంచిన చెట్టు వేళ్ళతో పాటు పడిపోయి ఉండడం చూసాడు. కాని ఆ పెద్దమనిషి అంతంత మాత్రంగా చూసిన చెట్టు మాత్రం అలాగే ఉండడం చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోయాడు.

దాంతో ఆ యువకుడు అలా ఎందుకు జరిగింది అని ఆ పెద్దాయనను ప్రశ్నించాడు.

ఆయన చెప్పిన సమాధానం మనందరికీ ఒక గుణపాఠం కావాలి.

"* చూడు బాబు, నువ్వు ఒక చెట్టుకి ఏమేమి కావాలో అన్నీ అవసారానికి మించి అందించావు. అందువల్ల దాని వేళ్ళు నీళ్ళ కోసమో పోషకవిలువల కోసమో భూమి లోతుల వరకు వెళ్ళవలసిన అవసరం రాలేదు. నేను చెట్టు బ్రతకడానికి మాత్రం సరిపడే నీళ్ళు ఎరువు ఇఛ్చినందువల్ల ఇతర పోషకాల కోసం అది తన వేళ్ళను భూమి లోతుల వరకు పరిచింది.

నీ వేళ్ళు పైపైన మాత్రమే ఉండడంవల్ల గాలికి తట్టుకుని భూమిలోపల నిలదొక్కుకోలేకపోయాయి.

నా వేళ్ళు భూమి లోతుల వరకు పాకి ఉండటంవల్ల ప్రకృతి విసిరిన సవాలును తట్టుకుని చెట్టు అలాగే నిలబడగలిగింది.*"

ఈ విషయం మనం పెంచే చెట్ల విషయంలోనే కాదు మనం కని పెంచే పిల్లలకు కూడా వర్తిస్తుంది అని అందరం గమనించాలి.
