The 240th Board Meeting of Goa Electronics Limited (GEL) was held on 17th July 2026 at the EDC Board Room, Panaji, under the Chairmanship of Shri Vinay Tendulkar.

The meeting was attended by Shri Rupesh Kamat (Vice Chairman & Director), Shri Navin Pai Raikar, Smt. Savita Talekar, Dr. Kaustubh Patnekar, Shri Kiran Naik, Shri Vithoba Ghadi, Shri B. S. Pai Angle, and Shri Ashwin Kamat, Directors of the Company, along with Smt. Revati Kumar (CEO) and Shri B. S. Borkar (Managing Director).

🔹 Key Highlight: The Board approved the Financial Statements for FY 2025–26 and noted compliance with all statutory requirements.

*Strengthening Cybersecurity for a Secure Digital Goa 🔐*

The Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, in coordination with the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), National e-Governance Division (NeGD), and CERT-In, successfully organized a *State Consultative Workshop on "Strengthening Cybersecurity Frameworks for State Data."*

As the State Designated Agency (SDA) for Government websites, Goa Electronics Limited (GEL) delivered a presentation highlighting:

* Cybersecurity challenges faced by Government websites and digital services
* Best practices for securing citizen data and IT infrastructure
* Importance of regular Security Audits, SSL implementation, GIGW compliance, and STQC guidelines
* Key action points to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of State Departments

The workshop witnessed active participation from officials across various Government Departments, reinforcing the shared commitment towards building a resilient, secure, and citizen-centric digital ecosystem in Goa.
