We recently hosted a Demo Day where our intern teams showcased their solutions to a fascinating challenge:
✨ Build a job portal that tackles the unique hiring dynamics in a world where developers’ skills are shaped by AI.

The task was twofold: leverage AI in the development process and embed AI within the final product.

The results? Truly inspiring. 🚀 The teams presented solutions that could easily pass as startup-worthy MVPs just a few years ago. It’s incredible to see how AI-powered development is supercharging what developers can deliver within a short time span.

Our CTO, Amit Tamba, showcased the successful Government Process Reengineering of the Public Works Department, Goa to the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant. The presentation was attended by Shri Puneet Kumar Goel, Chief Secretary of Goa; Dr. V. Candavelou, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister; Shri Alok Kumar, DGP Goa Police; and Shri Uttam Parsekar, Principal Chief Engineer, PWD Goa.

Each section in a Government organization is typically run as a data silo, with no access to the work performed by other sections. This leads to duplicated efforts, inefficient resource use, poor communication between stakeholders, and unnecessary expenditure. To enhance the efficiency of our government organizations and run operations at India scale, we must rethink our approach. mapflows is an operating system for modern governance, offering a unified interface for entire organizations. At freethink we put a lot of work into our internship program. As an R&D focussed organization we are constantly solving new and unique engineering problems, and we recognize the spark of inspiration that fuels the innovation. We are committed to passing that spark on to the next generation of engineers, who will make the world a little bit better, and a whole lot more interesting. Our interns definitely don't have it easy, and are required to create fully functioning projects that are evaluated against industry standards. It is also an opportunity for our interns to see the amazing work culture at freethink and understand why a software product company is so different than a system integrator. It's no surprise that many of our interns choose to return to freethink to continue the journey they began with us.
