The young French traveler I was settled one year ago in the beautiful village of Palolem, South Goa. Surprised by the limited vision of India given to tourists here, I have decided to create a shop that gives a little more the taste of current India : creativity, sustainability and humor inside nice daily products. AZ is a kind
of modern bazaar where you'll find all unexpected objects from A to Z, all mixing traditional items of India and nowadays references. No more saris or classical memories of what is supposed to be Incredible India but colors, rickshaw, Bollywood pictures recycled on mugs, bags, keychains or whatever. I assume my strong taste for mustache and for Shaktiman hero. Nevertheless, smiling doesn't mean not being serious : I look for eco friendly partnerships, fair trade products, local productions as much as possible. The shop will represent different brands, all in their name in a colorful shop located on the beach street of Palolem : I am forming two local girls for the cell as I really want to work with the people of the village and I have to say I am quite feminist. The shop will be open all year and maybe one day will be extended to a French café, who knows ? Eating a nice French pastry in a blue elephant plate could be a good summary of my life…
