Driver of Drivers... of Drivers 🚗💡💻
void evolve() => Driver(Driver(Driver()));
In fourth grade, my dream was simple: I wanted to be a driver.
By seventh grade, I had started driving—not a car, but a computer. I began by navigating games and eventually moved into the vast world of code. My keyboard and mouse became my steering wheel; the screen, my endless open road. 🖥️⌨️
That "driving" life took me across continents—from India to the heart of Europe. While preparing to launch my own company, I began reflecting on the many layers of leadership: people management, decision-making, finance, and self-awareness. But as I juggled them all, a quiet realization hit me: "Something is missing." 🤔📈
To find that missing piece, I enrolled in a leadership development program. That was where the breakthrough happened: I realized I had been driving the wrong vehicle all along. 🤯
Worse, I realized I hadn't even been the one behind the wheel. I had to laugh at the irony. 😅
That was the day my real journey began. It’s not enough to drive a computer; you must drive the "driver" behind the machine. I had to learn to drive myself.
I started swapping out my internal "parts." I uninstalled the "apps" I no longer needed and upgraded others. The list of "bloatware" was long: quick temper, anxiety, ego, the desperate need for external validation, and the habit of procrastination. 📉🛠️
Truth be told, I hadn't even installed most of those apps myself. They were pre-loaded by parents, society, and tradition. With all that unwanted data, my mind was like an overheated smartphone on the verge of exploding. 🔥📱
The relief of evicting those "backseat drivers" and deleting their software was immense. The day I finally configured my own parts and chose my own apps was my personal Independence Day. 🇮🇳🕊️
Today, I drive with pride. I have evolved into a driver who shapes other drivers. In this age of Artificial Intelligence, a human’s true USP lies in how deeply we can perceive the layers of our own consciousness. Recognizing these internal drives is what makes us better drivers of our destiny. 🧠🌐
From Homo erectus to Homo deus, life is a constant evolution. It is the journey from being a mere passenger to becoming a mentor who leads others toward their own wheels.
It makes me look at those I lead today and ask, in a moment of poetic recognition:
"Is that not ME, whom I see in YOU?" ✨
