After getting IGBC AP certification you will have following options in your hand.
1. Start working with sustainability related companies.
2. Get more knowledge about green building and go for post graduation in this area.
3. Go for some other green building certifications like LEED GA and AP as well as software courses which will help for building analysis.
4. Attend different green building related exhibitions and find more options for career in sustainable building industry.
5. Have some experience in green building industry and be an independent green building consultant .

c. Energy Efficiency
d. Material & Resources
e. Indoor Air Quality.
If u give IGBC AP exam u must have idea about all those 5 aspects of the building. As a engineer u cn build a building but once u go in details u will come to know how ur building can effect environment and how crirtical the material, MEP services are for the building.
In short once u clear this exam u will hv broader idea about what building is all about in every aspect this will increase ur knowledge amd defonately help u in ur career. Any how an additonal credential is never harrmful :)
