Many students think Development means learning and getting a job.
That's a common mistake.
Frontend Development is much more than React.
A strong frontend developer first becomes a strong .
Before jumping into React, you should be comfortable with:
✅ HTML5
✅ CSS3
✅ JavaScript (ES6+)
✅ jQuery
✅ Bootstrap
✅ Responsive Design
✅ Cross-Browser Compatibility
✅ DOM Manipulation
✅ Web Performance Basics
React is just a library that helps you build user interfaces faster. But if your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals are weak, React won't make you a better developer.
In interviews, many candidates can create React components but struggle with basic CSS layouts, JavaScript concepts, or responsive design.
My advice:
👉 First become a UI Developer.
👉 Master HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery in depth.
👉 Then move to React, Next.js, and other frontend frameworks.
Strong foundations create strong careers.
Frameworks will change. Fundamentals will stay with you forever.
