Owner को 100 reports नहीं—सिर्फ सही समय पर सही exceptions चाहिए।

Late orders, material shortage, production delay, rejection, pending dispatch और overdue payments—ये सभी एक ही dashboard पर responsible person और resolution date के साथ दिखने चाहिए।

अगर factory की वास्तविक स्थिति जानने के लिए आपको अलग-अलग लोगों को phone करना पड़ता है, तो comment में DASHBOARD लिखें।

लाखों रुपये का ERP लेने के बाद भी अगर team Excel और WhatsApp पर काम कर रही है, तो ERP install हुआ है—implement नहीं।

Successful ERP के लिए सिर्फ software और training काफी नहीं है। Clear process, department-wise responsibility, complete data entry और management review जरूरी है। जब ERP का data रोज़ के decisions में इस्तेमाल होगा, तभी team उसे seriously अपनाएगी।

ERP का demo अच्छा था… features भी impressive थे… फिर भी decision नहीं हो पाया?

क्योंकि सही ERP का चुनाव सिर्फ features देखकर नहीं होता। यह समझना जरूरी है कि ERP आपकी factory की actual problems—stock mismatch, production delay, pending dispatch और owner dependency—को कैसे solve करेगा।

अगले demo में vendor से features नहीं, अपनी problems का live solution दिखाने को कहिए। साथ ही process fit, implementation plan, total cost और after-sales support जरूर check करें।

Custom ERP या Ready-made ERP—सही क्या है?

अगर आपकी factory की processes simple और standard हैं, तो ready-made ERP जल्दी और कम investment में शुरू हो सकता है।

लेकिन multiple units, complex production, job work, special costing और अलग approval systems के लिए custom ERP बेहतर fit हो सकता है।

Ready-made ERP में factory को software के अनुसार बदलना पड़ता है।
Custom ERP में software factory के अनुसार बदलता है।

लेकिन हर पुरानी working को customisation के नाम पर software में डालना भी सही नहीं। सही ERP वही है जो जरूरी processes cover करे—बिना system को unnecessarily complex बनाए।

आपकी factory को क्या चाहिए—READY या CUSTOM? Comment कीजिए।

ERP live होने के बाद भी अगर Purchase Excel पर, Production WhatsApp पर और management phone calls पर निर्भर है—तो software नहीं, implementation अधूरा है।

ERP तभी सफल होता है जब:

• Parallel systems बंद हों
• Data समय पर भरा जाए
• जिम्मेदारी स्पष्ट हो
• Management regular review करे

सिर्फ ERP install करने से factory नहीं बदलती। नए working system को consistently follow करने से बदलती है।

ERP fail होने पर सबसे पहले software को दोष दिया जाता है।

लेकिन क्या processes clear थीं?
क्या team को proper training मिली?
क्या data समय पर भरा गया?
क्या कोई internal project leader था?
क्या management regular review कर रही थी?

सही software भी बिना ownership, discipline और management involvement के सफल नहीं हो सकता।

आपके अनुसार ERP implementation किसे lead करना चाहिए—Owner, Internal Project Manager या ERP Vendor?

ERP खरीदने से पहले यह check करना जरूरी है कि आपकी factory उसके लिए तैयार भी है या नहीं।

खुद को इन 5 points पर एक-एक number दीजिए:

1. ERP से solve होने वाली problems स्पष्ट हैं
2. Internal processes defined हैं
3. एक जिम्मेदार project leader मौजूद है
4. Team समय पर सही data भरने के लिए तैयार है
5. Management training और review के लिए समय दे सकती है

Score 4–5: आपकी factory काफी हद तक ERP-ready है।
Score 3 से कम: पहले internal preparation की जरूरत है।

ERP का मतलब सिर्फ entries और colourful dashboards नहीं है।

सही ERP वह है जो Owner को बताए:

कौन-सा order कहाँ रुका है,
material कहाँ कम है,
delay क्यों हुआ,
और किस decision पर तुरंत attention चाहिए।

इसलिए ERP demo में features नहीं—अपनी factory की वास्तविक problems का solution देखिए।

Information लोगों की memory में नहीं—system में record होती है।
Authority और approval limits clearly defined होती हैं।

Accountability targets और actual performance से measure होती है।
और owner routine decisions नहीं—सिर्फ critical exceptions handle करता है।
