Creating awareness, building sensitivity, and empowering our future workforce ✨
We recently conducted an 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐇 (𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭) 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for our trainees, driven by our HR team and delivered brilliantly by 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐲𝐚 𝐃𝐡𝐢𝐫, 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐑 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐂𝐂 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐇.
The session was thoughtfully designed to help our trainees understand the importance of a 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 right from the beginning of their professional journey. It covered key aspects such as:
What constitutes sexual harassment at the workplace:
– Understanding boundaries, consent, and appropriate behavior
– The importance of respecting diversity and inclusion
– Awareness about the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐈𝐂𝐂) and reporting mechanisms
– Encouraging employees to speak up and create a culture of trust and accountability
𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐲𝐚 brought in great insights and real-life scenarios, making the session highly engaging and relatable for everyone involved.
A special thanks to 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢, 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐢, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚 for their incredible support and for bringing concepts to life through an engaging skit, making the learning experience even more impactful and easy to understand.
Sessions like these play a crucial role in shaping a 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 for the future.
