📖 कहानी: Excel क्यों बनाया गया

1980 के दशक की शुरुआत में, बिज़नेस और कंपनियाँ अपने डेटा को संभालने के लिए Lotus 1-2-3 और VisiCalc जैसे पुराने स्प्रेडशीट प्रोग्राम इस्तेमाल करती थीं। लेकिन इन टूल्स में कई सीमाएँ थीं — इंटरफ़ेस जटिल था, ग्राफ़िक्स कमज़ोर थे और ऑटोमेशन की सुविधा लगभग नहीं थी।

🌟 माइक्रोसॉफ्ट का विज़न
माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने सोचा कि अगर एक ऐसा टूल बनाया जाए जो:
- डेटा को आसान तरीके से मैनेज कर सके,
- ग्राफ़िकल इंटरफ़ेस दे ताकि यूज़र को समझना आसान हो,
- और ऑटोमेशन के ज़रिए समय बचा सके,

तो यह बिज़नेस दुनिया में क्रांति ला सकता है।

🖥️ जन्म: Excel 1985
- पहला वर्ज़न 1985 में Macintosh पर लॉन्च हुआ।
- इसमें चार्ट्स, फॉर्मूला और ग्राफ़िकल इंटरफ़ेस थे, जो उस समय के लिए बहुत एडवांस्ड माने गए।
- Lotus 1-2-3 मैक पर उपलब्ध नहीं था, इसलिए Excel ने तुरंत लोकप्रियता हासिल की।

🚀 असली सफलता: Windows 1987
- 1987 में Excel Windows पर आया और यहीं से इसकी असली यात्रा शुरू हुई।
- Windows के साथ इंटीग्रेशन ने इसे तेज़, यूज़र‑फ्रेंडली और बिज़नेस‑रेडी बना दिया।
- धीरे‑धीरे Excel ने अपने प्रतियोगियों को पीछे छोड़ दिया और स्प्रेडशीट का इंडस्ट्री स्टैंडर्ड बन गया।

🔑 असल वजह
Excel को बनाने का असली मक़सद था:
- डेटा को समझना आसान बनाना
- बिज़नेस डिसीज़न को तेज़ करना
- और ऑटोमेशन से समय बचाना

आज Excel सिर्फ़ एक स्प्रेडशीट नहीं, बल्कि डेटा एनालिसिस, ऑटोमेशन और AI इंटीग्रेशन का powerhouse है।
