Two months after completing the first tests, an smartphone reached 5G speeds.

Oppo is currently working with Qualcomm in developing a 5G-enabled device, with the partnership being announced recently at the Beijing 2018 Qualcomm China Technology and Cooperation Summit.

The smartphone is built around the OPPO R15, but with a fully integrated 5G system board, RF, RFFE, and antenna. The test was done in Oppo’s communication protocol laboratory where it teased the X50 modem from back in August.

iOS 12.1 Is Now Available 👍 with Group FaceTime 👩, New Emoji, and ‘Beautygate’ Fix❗ :o

Apple told earlier this month that the beauty bug was caused by a flaw in its smart camera system that chose the wrong base frame for HDR processing whenever someone took a selfie.

iOS 12.1 also adds dual-SIM support for the iPhone XS and XR, and Group support for video chat with up to 32 people simultaneously. The iOS 12.1 update also comes with 70 new emoji, including options for bald people, curly-haired people, and those with mustaches, as well as red and grey-haired emoji. Xiaomi’s sub-brand has launched the F1, the company’s first smartphone in India. It has a 6.14-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, is powered by 845 with up to 8GB RAM and Technology. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI for POCO, and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update in Q4 2018.

It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture portrait shots, real-time AI, intelligent scene recognition that can detect 206 scenes across 25 categories. It also comes with a 20-megapixel front camera with AI features and pixel binning. It has IR face unlock that can unlock the phone 0.4 seconds, even in pitch darkness.

It features a hard-coated polycarbonate unibody design and also comes in Kevlar back option called Armored Edition that uses Kevlar aramid fibre. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, has Dual 4G VoLTE as well as 4G+ that promises up to 275% faster data throughput over conventional 4G and packs a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, and also includes 9V/2A (18W) charger in the box.

Xiaomi has appointed a dedicated 👨‍💻 for the premium brand in India. It is being quoted from market survey reports 📊 that the number of people willing to pay more that Rs 20,000 for smartphones 📱 has now gone up in the country and the high-end phones are now retailing at around $1000. 📈

As indicated, in the current situation, Samsung, Apple and OnePlus together control up to 88% of the premium smartphone segment in India. Xiaomi has its work cut out. 🗂️

Google made it official!l 9.0 is Android Pie 🥧 !

If you are a 📱 owner, you’ll be happy to hear that Pie will start rolling out as an over-the-air update today.
The same goes for every other device that was enrolled in the Android Beta (that includes any Sony Mobile, Xiaomi, HMD Global, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential devices that got the betas) and qualifying Android One devices. Everybody else, well, you know the drill. Wait until your manufacturer launches it for you… which should be the end of the year for some — and never for quite a few others.

Apple Is the First US 🇺🇸 Company Worth $1 Trillion❗

on Thursday become the first US company worth more than $1 trillion on a public stock market.
The company on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings that topped Wall Street's expectations, sending surging by more than 5% into Wednesday. The rally continued on Thursday, propelling shares to the magic number of $207.05. That price translates to a $1 trillion market cap, based on the current estimated number of outstanding shares.

In the more than four decades since founded the company in a California garage, Apple has become nearly synonymous with personal computing and mobile devices. After launching the — arguably its most famous product — in 2007, Apple now churns out over 40 million of the devices every quarter, helping it rake in $254.63 billion in revenue last year.

Adjusted for splits, Apple's stock price has risen nearly 40,000% since its initial public offering in 1980.
