The early morning drive from Pune to Goa within the western ghats of India started out to be a wonderful one. The place was brimming with mesmerising scenic beauty, whose originality could never be captured through the lens of a camera. But the entire drive didn’t turn out to be so wonderful. Losing GPS on the mid way to Goa and being misguided by some local person, the really curvy mountain drive through the mountains and forests of Karnataka made us sick and left us irritated. Finally, finding our way into Goa, we happened to meet our college friends Gaurav Manchanda, Ankur Singh Tanwar and Deepesh Malik there and our blues suddenly turned into jubilation.
Next day we explored the area looking for orphanages and old age homes, visiting them the following day.
While in Margao, we met two hitch hikers from Australia who were really excited to see our skateboards and they wondered what van life is. Leaving them at a bus stop nearby, we went to Candolim Beach, Goa.
With those long walks on the beaches and building sand castles there, we made everlasting memories and friendships. Leaving this amazing place the following morning left us with a heavy heart.
