Creative Pulp Design

Creative Pulp Design We are Creative Pulp Design and we love to set good ideas in motion.

In the past 9 years of operation, we’ve had the opportunity to work with and garner the trust of some excellent teams at Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), UNDP, AIMA, FSecure, Natural Bath & Body, NASSCOM, Jubilant Lifesciences, PeopleStrong etc. As communication and branding partners, we measure our success by the long-term benefit that this generates for your brand.

Meet the person behind Creative Pulp Design.

11 years of CPD. Nearly two decades in design. And still asking questions about what makes a brand matter.

I'm Ish*ta — founder, brand strategist, designer, and perpetual student of what makes communication actually work.

This is a little more of me, and a little more of the thinking behind CPD.

If you've been following our work, welcome to the next chapter.
If you're new here, hello. 👋

Freedom isn't just about a moment in history. It's a mindset we choose every day.

To think beyond convention. To express without filters. To stand apart, even when it's not the easy path. In business. In creativity. In life.

That's what keeps ideas original. That's what builds brands that stand for something.

Here's to the freedom to create with purpose, and the courage to do it your own way.

Happy Independence Day. 🇮🇳

Some projects remind you why you do what you do.

Not because they're the biggest.

Not because they're the most visible.

But because everyone involved believes in building something thoughtfully.

FreshTerra has been one of those projects.

Every sign. Every graphic. Every customer touchpoint.
Different pieces, all contributing to one brand experience.

That's what we love most about communication design — not creating individual assets, but helping a brand feel consistent wherever people encounter it.

Grateful to the FreshTerra team for the trust, openness and collaboration throughout this journey.

When your audience are founders and industry leaders — you don't design to impress.

You design to inform.

No noise. No decoration. Just a clean visual language that carries the weight of a big idea.

This corporate brochure for Caret360 had one job: make a bold ambition legible to the people who would build it.

Making India's value chain efficient by 2030. That's the brief.

Architecture over aesthetics. Every time.

We can generate a thousand designs before lunch now.

Standing in front of this seal in a Lucknow museum, I caught myself wondering whether that's progress - or just noise.

Indus Valley. 2500 BCE. And the impulse behind it is the same as that behind every brand built today: leave a mark. I was here. I stood for something.

4,500 years apart. Same impulse.

What's actually new isn't the urge to make our mark. It's that we can now mass-produce creatives with no strategy behind them. Volume without intent. Output without a clear point of view.

That doesn't leave an impact. It adds to the noise – faster!

Apni Chaap (छाप) chhodna. Leave a mark that lasts.
The tools changed. The instinct didn't.

Are you making an impact - or just making noise?

One session from my last module at IIM Lucknow stayed with me longer than I expected.
Sandeep Das on storytelling.

I've been in brand and communication design for over two decades. I walked in thinking I'd be nodding along.
Reader, I took three pages of notes.

1. Problem → Tension → Resolution. In that order. Always.
Most of us skip the tension. We present the problem, flash the solution, and wonder why nobody's paying attention. The tension — why this problem matters, what's actually at stake — is the part that makes people lean in.
Turns out we've all been telling stories with the most interesting bit removed.

2. Nobody remembers your opening slide.
They remember how you ended. The human brain judges and recalls the ending of any experience — a meeting, a pitch, a brand moment.
That brilliant data dump you opened with? Largely forgotten. How you closed? That's what they're taking home.

3. Showing off is just being comfortable being seen.
His words. Not mine.

And as someone who spent years quietly letting the work speak while the person stayed firmly in the background — this one had some nerve.
Still sitting with it. Clearly.

Thank you — didn't expect to leave a storytelling session questioning my entire communication philosophy. But here we are. 🙏

An old photo.
A younger version of me.
Still figuring things out, still learning, still building — and apparently still making fake moustaches out of my own hair.

Some things change.
Some instincts stay.

Build seriously.
Don’t take yourself too seriously.

11 years of Creative Pulp Design today. ❤️

Dear Client,
We love working with you. We genuinely do.
But there are a few things — if you did them — that would make the work go from good to actually unforgettable.
