IMPULSE'19 is over, not the enthusiasm...
We had an amazing time during HackMAIT 2.0 organised by Microsoft Student Partners and IOSD MAIT

We had two of the professional judges, Mr. Ashish Kumar( Manager, Su-Kam Solar) & Ms. Saumya Aggarwal(CEO & Co-Founder, Youth for Peace International) to help in making the evaluation process more feasible.

We encouraged the use of Azure as cloud and git as open source platform . Also an initiative was taken by encouraging 1 girl in each team.

The winners were awarded with prizes worth 1 lac, vouchers, goodies, swags and bags.

MSPs of MAIT organised combined workshop on "Mastering Github and knowing about Microsoft related tech. along with Interview Preparation" on 28 March 2019
Students were full of energy! They were excited to learn about new Microsoft technologies. Moreover, they were all encouraged to participate in open source projects and were provided with the right guidance to embark off their journeys into the tech world. Students were made to learn about the interview process at the Microsoft Corp. and we expect more Microsoft engineers from the campus in the near future!
We discussed with the fist year newbies about what actually is github and its role while applying for any company along with the fact of using this platform for open source and team contributions.We discussed terminologies like Fork, Pull Request,Push, Clone , creating repository , updating , merge etc.
All participants were given with subways and we distributed cool goodies like swags, SMS organiser Tshirt and other stuff to the active students and it was all together a fun to go and an interactive session with the participants.
