GS AIGETOA writes to GS BSNLEU and Convener AUAB expressing solidarity with the call and conveying best wishes. However, as far as Participation of AIGETOA is concerned, Expressed some serious apprehensions which needs to be taken care of before moving any forward.

AIGETOA appreciates the need for unity and hence for the sake of united call, AIGETOA reiterates BDM proposal for forming a joint Action Committee and move forward forgetting the Past. Such Joint Action Committees for various unions and associations have been in existence in all the major organisations as well as in BSNL earlier. *The crucial issue of 78.8 percent Fitment Factor was achieved through JAC only.* _If we agree to form a JAC, BDM will serve the same notice in Parallel *provided all agree to pursue the discussions under Joint Action Committee and AUAB gives a written communication to us and management in this regard or signs a fresh joint notice with AUAB and BDM Constituents* ._

AIGETOA expressed its willingness for calling a joint meeting of the all constituents in the interest of the larger cause and BSNL employees. AIGETOA invites all the constituents of AUAB to have a joint meeting with the constituents of BDM. GS has requested for communicating a suitable convenient date so that arrangements can be made.

AIGETOA extends the Best Wishes to AUAB and expresses solidarity but our participation in the call depends upon the trust building exercises which AUAB takes forward.

AIGETOA also requests AUAB for emphasis on a very important issue. Considering the current toxic work environment, there is imminent need to address the other issues like Uttarakhand Restructuring, continued violation of policies, E2-E3, Pay-loss, 30% SAB, Promotions, the letter w.r.t Rule 55A etc. *AIGETOA has launched an awareness campaign over social media for “Immediate Appointment of Regular CMD BSNL” and “No more extension to current CMD BSNL"* as we consider the temporary arrangement at CMD Level as one of the major reasons behind the uncertainty going in the minds of all employees.”

*AIGETOA has requested AUAB for support and participating in the Awareness Campaign which starts from 2nd October, 2026 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti with rigorous RTI campaigns and 3 days X Campaign on dated 7th, 8th, 9th October 2026.*

Dear Friends

*AIGETOA understands the importance of unity but at the same time firmly believes that action programs should be more rigorous and harder as the time is very less now. Hence, _AIGETOA has once again requested AUAB with call for forming the Joint Action Committee and invited AUAB for a combined discussion with emphasis on a harder trade union programs_ and with attention to other pressing issues like No extension to Current CMD BSNL and UKD Pilot Restructuring.*

_We sincerely hope that AUAB will respond positively to our gesture for achieving a 100% unity amongst employees ._

As of now, AIGETOA will not boycott the BSNL foundation day functions but remains open to coming together for a harder trade union actions.

Issuance of Revised Orders of TA/DA for BSNL employees:

As informed after our meeting with JS (Admin) Sh K Balaji on dated 25.09.2026, BSNL finally issues the orders for the revision of TA/DA. JS (Admin) has assured us that the necessary direction shall be issued soon.

We had earlier requested for directions to BSNL Management for immediate issuance of the orders for TA/DA Revision and Enhancement of SAB Contribution which has been kept pending by BSNL despite approval. We said that though AIGETOA do not agree with the quantum finalized as it is very miniature but still something which has been approved should not be kept pending. JS Admin assured to take up the matter with BSNL for necessary issuance of the orders in this regard.

We extend our thanks to JS (Admin) for his intervention but the adamancy of BSNL Management is quite visible from the quantum of the revised TA/DA order, which not matching even 2nd PRC/6th CPC rates. Our quest for getting it enhanced further will continue. Further, to add salt to the injury, BSNL Management have linked it with the posts instead linking it with pay scales as was done earlier.

BMS writes to Hon'ble MoC, Hon'ble MoSC, Secretary Telecom, Chairman PESB, Secretary ACC and Principal Secretary to PM requesting Timely Completion of the Selection Process and Appointment of Regular Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), BSNL as per the Notified Schedule. BMS has made follwoing demands:

1.The recruitment process is not scrapped midway, as unfortunately happened during the PESB selection interviews in 2025

2.The selection process for the post of CMD, BSNL is completed immediately without any further delay.

3.The appointment of the regular CMD is finalized at the earliest so that BSNL receives stable, dedicated and full-time leadership after more than two years of ad hoc arrangements.

4.The ongoing revival initiatives and strategic projects of BSNL continue without any disruption on account of prolonged vacancy in the top leadership.

BMS has reiterated its committment to ensure that BSNL gets a regular CMD at the earliest so that the prolonged adhocism for this post comes to an end immediately.
