I really enjoyed working with these pencils—the charcoal is very soft, creates rich dark values, and blends beautifully, making it easier to build depth and smooth transitions in a portrait.

For portrait drawing, having the right charcoal makes a big difference, especially when working on deep shadows, subtle tonal transitions, and expressive details.
