We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our Founder & CEO, Dr. Sachin Shende, on 17 April 2026, at the age of 49.ЁЯТРЁЯШФ
Sachin was widely acknowledged as one of the pioneers of agri-technology in emerging markets such as India and developed markets such as the United Kingdom. His deep, first-hand insights spanned the entire agriculture value chain тАФ from pre-harvest and crop growth operations to post-harvest, sourcing and procurement management.
Sachin built with intent. He believed agriculture deserved better systems тАФ more transparent, more efficient and truly rewarding for farmers. Through FarmSetu Technologies, he worked relentlessly to turn that belief into reality.
Sachin empowered his clients to dream big, think better, and aim higher. Besides the obvious technology-driven efficiencies he sought to deliver, he helped many of them to embrace a growth mindset. His enduring legacy lies in the profound mindset shifts he inspired among the clients he served.
The firm will continue to operate without changes to its day-to-day operations.
The ultimate tribute to Sachin will be our renewed and unwavering commitment to his dream of digitising Indian agriculture and helping it become world-class.
