🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day — and happy 21st birthday to us.
We opened our doors on 15 August 2005. A small studio in Nagpur, a handful of clients, and a lot of hope.
We didn't choose Independence Day on purpose. It just happened to be the day we were ready.
But the date grew into something over the years. Because after 21 years of building websites, the thing we end up explaining most often is really about freedom:
Who actually owns your business online?
Most people assume they do. Then we ask a few questions, and it turns out they don't.
Here's what we see almost every week:
Your domain is registered in an old freelancer's name. He built the site years ago, moved cities, stopped answering calls. You've been sending customers to an address that isn't legally yours.
Your store's platform quietly moved you to a bigger plan and the bill tripled. Leaving means starting from scratch, so you stay and you pay.
Nobody knows the password. The site works fine — until the day it doesn't, and there's no one left who can help.
None of it comes with a warning. You just find out one morning that something you thought was yours was rented all along.
So we made a few rules early on, and we've stuck to them:
✅ Your domain goes in your name, not ours. Leave us tomorrow and you take it with you — no charge. ✅ When the job's done, you get everything. Passwords, files, access. ✅ Before you sign anything, we tell you what leaving would cost.
To everyone who trusted a brand-new studio in 2005 and is still with us — thank you. That's not a small thing. And to everyone who called for the first time last month, you're the reason there'll be a 22nd year.
Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳
Enjoy the day. Then sometime this week, log in and check whose name your domain is in. Takes five minutes.
