On the special day, people across the country celebrate Lohri with full fervour and enthusiasm. As tradition goes, man and women gather around a hug fire, throwing in revdi and puffed rise. For many the festival is all about togetherness and celebrations that bring together families and friends. People wear traditional clothes and distribute popcorn, revdi, gajak, jaggery and puffed rice among themselves and have a fun and exciting evening.
