How To Format Pendrive Using CMD 2022 and Why do you need to format Pendrive by cmd?
Sometimes your Pendrive has been corrupted and not be able to format from the file manager. then you can use it. and if you want to change the format like this USB to Ext2, Ext3, format FAT32 USB to NTFS, format USB to FAT32, etc. on all Windows OS( Windows 7, Windows 8, windows10, windows11}.
so let’s see how to format and Repair Corrupted Drive using the command prompt.
Press Window + R to open the run command.
type CMD and Open it.

Now type in Command Prompt these lines as you can see in the below side
Now here open Command Prompt
01: Type diskpart and press Enter
02:Type list disk and press Enter. here in the below side, you will see all the hard drives so you can check and find the drive which you want to format. format my drive is 16 Gb Pendrive. so my Pendrive is Disk 4.
03:Type select disk 4 to choose disk.
04:Type clean for Clean this device and now Complete Data will be erased.
05:Type create partition primary to make this a specification partition.
06: Type format fs= ntfs quick format this specific partition if you want to format other system formats like fat32, exfat, etc. then you can choose this.
07: Type assign to assign drive letter for your drive.
