Immediate Requirement for Sr. Java Developer / Lead for MNC Client @ MYSORE

Position: Sr. Java Developer / Lead
Location: MYSORE

Primary objectives
• To design, code, and test components within a J2EE architecture to support applications for the financial services markets.
Requirements of the role
• Work with onsite Business Analysts and Technical Leads on design aspects to meet technical and business requirements
• Develop high quality software components within a J2EE development environment
• Assist or lead detailed design efforts to deliver the use case requirements given Software Architecture and Technical Infrastructure
• Contribute to the definition, maintenance and adherence to development guidelines/standards and processes
• Assist with the deployment and administration of the Technical Infrastructure (servers and services, both J2EE and Database)
• Transfer of technical knowledge and expertise to other employees
• Building good working relationships with teams across WCG offices

Skills/experience requirements
Essential
• Commercial Java development experience of 6 to 8+ years
• Experience of commercial OO design and development methods
• Experience with J2EE Application Design, Coding, and Implementation
• Experience in Object Relational Mapping Persistent and Caching Layer Technologies such as Hibernate
• Experience with open source frameworks related to web applications such as Spring, Struts etc.
• Experience with Web Application technologies such as DHTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP, TCP/IP, XML, Java Servlets, JSP, JMS, JDBC
• Experience with UML Design, Ajax Frameworks & JPA
• Experience with Java development & deploy tools such as Eclipse, Ant, Maven, Tomcat
• Experience using SQL
• Exposure to a Java Application Server (WebSphere and JBoss preferred)
Desired
• Commercial experience in COBOL development
• Experience of using Unit Testing tools and methods
• Experience of Infrastructure Design & Analysis
• Experience with Performance Tuning & Profiling
• Experience with Reporting Tools such as Crystal Reports and Windward Reports
