Last week, Leeza conducted a workshop with our team called The Mystery Masterpiece.
Everyone got a blank canvas and paints, and had to start creating something of their own. When Leeza rang the bell, each person passed their canvas to the person on their left, and continued painting on the canvas they received from the right.
This kept going for multiple rounds till they received their original canvas back. In between rounds, a few constraints were also introduced, like painting only in one corner or creating something using your initial…
When everyone finally got their original canvas back, the outcome was different from what the person who started it had in mind.
And that was the point.
Creative work in teams rarely follows a single vision. It evolves through multiple hands, shifting constraints, and changing contexts. The skill is not in protecting your original idea, but in responding to what exists and moving it forward with clarity, and that’s exactly what the team learnt.
It was definitely one of those exercises that stays with you!
