Connecting Parents, Students & Faculty

The BCOM & BBI Department of Lords Universal College organised a Parents–Teacher Meeting, bringing together parents, students, and faculty to foster meaningful communication and provide a clear understanding of the academic journey ahead.

The interaction covered key aspects of academics, attendance, the NEP framework, student responsibilities, available opportunities, and the importance of active participation in college life.

The session was led by BCOM & BBI Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Neelam Vishwakarma, along with faculty members Ms. Riya Chauhan, Ms. Neha Gupta, and Ms. Alisha Fernandez.

The PTM marked a positive step towards building a strong partnership between parents, students, and faculty, supporting continued learning, growth, and overall development.

The IT/CS Department of Lords Universal College, Goregaon (W) successfully conducted a 6-hour hands-on workshop on “Design Your First Mobile App Using Figma.”

The workshop gave students an opportunity to explore UI/UX design, wireframing, app interface design, and prototyping, transforming their creative ideas into interactive mobile app designs.

Through this practical learning experience, students gained valuable insights into the design process while developing their creativity, problem-solving, and digital design skills.

Celebrating the Rich Heritage of Gujarat!

Lords Universal Junior College of Commerce and Science, a Gujarati Linguistic Minority Institution, celebrated World Gujarati Diwas on 24th August 2026 with immense enthusiasm and cultural fervour.

The celebration brought the vibrant spirit of Gujarat to life, with students and faculty dressed in colourful traditional Gujarati attire, creating a festive atmosphere across the campus.

The highlight of the day was a series of captivating cultural performances, where students showcased the unique geographical, cultural, and historical heritage of Gujarat through traditional folk songs and expressive performances.

Adding a special touch was the traditional Dayro, featuring folk poetry, timeless melodies, and storytelling that celebrated the linguistic and cultural roots of the Gujarati community.

A beautiful celebration of language, literature, culture, tradition, and student talent, strengthening our commitment to preserving and cherishing our rich heritage.

Celebrating 80 Years of Independence with Pride & Patriotism!

Lords Universal Junior College of Commerce and Science, Goregaon West, Mumbai, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with immense patriotic zeal and cultural grandeur.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day filled with pride and patriotism.

The cultural programme featured inspiring student speeches, energetic dance performances, and musical presentations, celebrating India’s rich heritage and paying tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The highlight of the celebration was a spectacular “Unity in Diversity” fashion show, where students proudly showcased the traditional attire and cultural richness of different Indian states.

The programme concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal on civic responsibility and the role of youth in shaping a developed India, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of national pride and unity.

The Discipline and Anti-Ragging Cell of Lords Universal College successfully organised the “One Campus, One Code – Student Oath for Harmony and Discipline” initiative, reinforcing the importance of creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and disciplined campus environment.

Through the collective oath, students pledged to uphold the values of discipline, respect, responsibility, dignity, kindness, cleanliness, and decorum across the campus.

Students were also sensitised about the importance of standing against ragging, harassment, discrimination, disrespect, and unethical conduct, while embracing the values of unity in diversity and mutual respect.

The course focused on strengthening basic concepts, scientific understanding, laboratory awareness, and subject-related skills through engaging and interactive learning sessions.

Through interactive activities, discussions, and demonstrations, students were encouraged to explore the fascinating world of microbiology with curiosity, confidence, and a scientific mindset.

An Unforgettable Experience at KBC

A group of 48 students from Lords Universal College had the exciting opportunity to visit the sets of the iconic television show Kaun Banega Crorepati and experience the world of television production up close.

From witnessing the shooting process and exploring professional cameras to understanding production techniques and experiencing the energy of a live television set, the visit offered students valuable insights beyond the classroom.

The experience became even more memorable as the students had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Sunny Deol, Mr. Aamir Khan, and Ms. Preity Zinta, who were present for a special episode.

The visit was an inspiring blend of media exposure, hands-on learning, and unforgettable experiences, giving our students a closer look at the creativity and teamwork behind a major television production.

A truly memorable experience that brought media education to life!
