ODeX was started with a mission to transform the Indian Ocean Shipping Industry from a pen & paper compound to an easy-click solution, managing multiple aspects of the EXIM trade. The whole idea for all stakeholders of EXIM Trade should come onto a single platform and transact, was deemed impossible but with the completion of six years, ODeX is now widely recognized particularly by Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Custom Brokers, Exporters & Importers, to manage the operations which are easily handled and moved along the supply chain. We are grateful for this industry that has allowed us to build a place for us and embraced us into the family. With Pacific International Lines now live on ODeX in Côte d’Ivoire, our collaboration reaches another important milestone. 10 countries and counting.

UAE MPCI is now mandatory, effective 1 October 2026.

Under the new requirement, shipping lines and freight forwarders must submit cargo information in advance for shipments destined for, transiting through, or transshipping via the UAE.

The Maritime Preload Cargo Information (MPCI) programme strengthens advance cargo security, visibility and compliance across the maritime supply chain.
ODeX is an accredited service provider for UAE MPCI, supporting shipping lines, freight forwarders and logistics stakeholders with a streamlined digital process for managing MPCI filings with NAIC.
