Looking for Sales Manager, Based in Geneva for our Client
Role
The role of Sales Manager is to engage with United Nations Agencies based out of Europe - Geneva, Vienna, Bon, and Brussels etc
• Generate / Open Leads in UN Agencies for IT Solutions & Services in specified focus areas
• Sales & Account Management - Develop relationship with multiple functions in Agencies (IT, Procurement, Finance, User Departments)
• Develop & Maintain Alliance relationship with Product Vendors – Oracle
• As Companies representative in Geneva, duties may involve tasks related to Nurturing Accounts, Business Development, Develop Relationships at all Levels, Solutions Selling, Get RFP / Tenders, Liaison with Sales / Pre Sales team based in India and submit RFP within set timelines
• Reporting to Head of Sales – TF BU
Responsibilities
• Meet / Exceed specified KPI’s – Sales Target, New Customer Additions, Mapping in Agencies, Positioning Solutions.
• Develop Relationship with C Level executives for Positioning Companies Solution & Services
• Work on large deals comprising of various Technologies and General IT requirements spanning multi year tenure with Global Delivery Model (onsite + offshore)
• Work on T & M engagements comprising of placing resources on contract in the focused areas
• Responsible for Account Management, Invoicing, Collections and Staffing Management
• Ability to articulate the value proposition affectively to all levels of buyers
• Develop competitive Sales Strategy to drive business and counter competition
• Conduct Presentations to present Companies Capabilities and Solutions
• Provide necessary inputs to Sales / Pre Sales team by appropriate discovery process
• Pursue Opportunities and build strong pipeline of large and medium size deals
• Provide reliable Forecast / Inputs to Sales, Pre Sales and Delivery team in India to build team for large size deals comprising of various technologies
• Manage local operations and co-ordinate with India team
• Focus Areas –
o ERP - Oracle, Peoplesoft
o EPM & Analytics – Hyperion, Oracle BI, Essbase, Microsoft BI
o Data Warehouse & Integration – ODI, OWB, Informatica, SQL
o Technology – Microsoft, .Net, ASP, VC, VB, C++, WPF, WCF, Sharepoint, Java, Javascript, PHP, Client Server Technologies, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Developer
Requirements
• Must have 12 – 15 years professional experience with a Systems Integrator, Software Company or Consulting Company in Enterprise Business Solutions space
• Must have 2 – 4 years of experience of engaging with UN as Sales
• Graduate and Post Graduate (MBA) in Sales & Marketing
• Excellent presentation skills, confident and ability to articulate.
• Good personal communication & interpersonal skills, team player.
• Strong Analytical skills and commercial acumen are important prerequisites.
• People skills to support the sales force with strong presentation skills and customer interaction.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with middle and senior management staff in client organizations
• Proven ability of meeting Sales KPI’s and working in Global Delivery Model
• Ability to drive Sales initiatives independently and effectively
• Language Proficiency – English Mandatory, Other European languages preferred - French, German
• Prefer – Swiss National, alternatively person must have necessary residency permits to stay in Geneva / France, Age about 35 - 40 years.
• Extensive Travel across all Europe based UN organizations
