Word-of-mouth publicity has made this philanthropic rickshaw driver, quite popular in Mumbai. So much so that he even has a Facebook profile where you can contact him or reach him directly on 9022416338. So next time you’re in Bandra and spot a rickshaw with the number MH 02 SA3783, do give Sandeep a shout out! I’m certain you’ll have something to add to the list of things I loved in Ki11ng of Bandra’s rickshaw.

Hands down, Asus has definitely been one of the many brands leading the march when it comes to multifunctionality. Their most recent launch, the Transformer Aio, reiterates this claim.

Revealed last year at the Computex 2012 and staging an appearance at the 2013 CES, the Transformer AiO may look like a one-trick pony at first glance but it carries a laundry list of goods specs for just about any market.

Up front, you get a 18.4 inch LED-backlit display with a 1920×1080 resolution and supports 10-point multitouch gestures. Underneath the hood, though, the Transformer AiO is powered byboth3rd Gen Intel Core and Nvidia Tegra quad-core processors.

This set-up lets it run dual OS. When docked, it fully utilizes Windows 8. At the touch of a button, however, you can switch OS if you prefer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This is also possible when removing it from the dock and using it as a tablet.

The Transformer AiO comes in either Core i5 or i7 configurations, up to 8GB RAM, different options for connectivity, and an optical drive. No word yet on when the Aio will be released specifically, though speculations place the AiO to be released by March this year and priced at least $1200

If you could see the new Genius Gila professional gaming mouse, and would like to compare it to what you are currently using: don’t. It would be like comparing, say, a Logitech spill-proof keyboard with one you use daily at your office.

Awarded a 2013 CES Innovations honor, the Gila professional gaming mouse can really be called an “ultimate configurable mouse.” The 12-button design can be tweaked and assigned a command according to the gamer’s preference. That’s not all, as “true personalization” can be realized since the weight and dpi can also be changed on the fly. You can also change the mouse LED’s pulsation and color, as well as brightness, so there would be minimal distractions when you play.

The Genius Gila also supports a Scorpion UI that lets gamers assign up to 72 macros, and the saved moves and commands on each of the 12 buttons would be saved on the on-board memory and CPU on the mouse itself, so you’d need not set up each and every time you play for competitions or LAN games.

This mouse is also designed for comfort and style. The non-slick rubber coating ensures a comfortable yet firm grip when you play, however violently you swish it back and forth. The 1.8m braided cable and anti-corrosive, gold-plated USB jack also provides a lag-free connection with wide area movement.
You need some drag when you play? No worries, as you can customize the Gila’s weight however you want. It has an underside compartment where you can add weights so you can adjust and control the mouse’s heft for unburdened movement.

The Genius Gila professional gaming mouse retails at $99.99, which can be a terrible bother for some. But hey, those into professional gaming would tell you, “…’tis here’s not just a tool, it’s an extension of me.

Clunky projectors could soon become a thing of the past with LG’s recent announcement of the Hecto Laser TV.

Strutting LG’s “Dynamic Arc Design,” the elegant, curvaceous and compact Hecto projector is paired with a special screen to make for an innovative home entertainment system. This device shoots lasers at its complementary screen to show rich and smooth images in Full HD resolution, be it in dark or lit areas. And since it only requires a distance of 22cm to project images on LG’s eye-popping 100-inch special screen, it won’t need a lot of space to do its thing.

To improve viewing experience, it comes with a digital tuner and 10W built-in speakers accompanying those nifty projected visuals with clear surround sound.

Hecto allows a wide range of devices to connect to it by way of three HDMI cables and can stream content from portable devices thanks to its smart connectivity features. Equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, this LG Magic Remote-operated device can also connect to the Internet and acquire content from LG-affiliated providers.

LG is expected to show off this cool projector, along with a number of other products, in CES 2013.

Kingston again updates its line of external hard drives with the Wi-Drive. The Wi-Drive is a portable, wireless storage for mobile devices, especially those Wi-Fi-enabled running on iOS or Android. Initially offered at sizes of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, the Wi-Drive lets you store data such as images, video, and music onto a portable, battery-powered device. In accessing data, you simply connect the device to your smartphone, tablet, or laptop via Wi-Fi. The Wi-Drive also allows up to three simultaneous users accessing the device, so it’s a great alternative for those small-capacity devices rather than upgrading and buying a large-capacity one.

Now, Kingston added to the storage arsenal a 128GB Wi-Drive, letting gadget users extend the storage volume of their devices. The same portability with others on the Wi-Drive line, this high-capacity external drive packs a lot of memory for a lithe 121.5mm x 61.8mm x 9.8mm frame.

With integrated WiFi and four hours of battery life, the Wi-Drive can be accessed wirelessly via an internet browser or the free Wi-Drive app downloadable from Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the Amazon Appstore.

The Kingston Wi-Drive offers easy file sharing and pocket-sized portable storage for $176 at Amazon

It seems that Korean tech giant LG is planning to strengthen its grip on living rooms where it’s already a presence, and take over ones that it hasn’t invaded yet, by unveiling a new line of audio and video products.

LG has just announced the BH9430PW speaker system, NB4530A Sound Bar, BP730 Blu-ray player, the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker and the NP6630 Portable Speaker—all of which are set to appear during CES in in Las Vegas on January 8-11, 2013.

Surrounded By Sound With The BH9430PW
The BH9430PW promises to improve your viewing pleasure by mimicking the sound system you’ll only find, or for a better choice of words, hear in cinemas. This 9.1-channel speaker comes with four multidirectional tallboy speakers that emit powerful audio in various directions, while a 3D Surround Processor makes sure that sound is equally distributed inside a room for everyone to hear. And with Aramid-fiber equipped sound cones, this system is capable of delivering a wide array of clear and undistorted sounds.

If you want to keep things to yourself, this system can bring its sounds straight to a smartphone via Wi-Fi when it’s in Private Sound Mode. And thanks to its NFC technology and iPod dock, the BH9430PW can access content from the Internet and from iPods.

The NB4530A Is A B**b Tube’s Buddy.
Standing at 35mm, the NB4530A Sound Bar connects to your TV through an HDMI ARC port to produce optimum sounds by way of 2.1 channels, 310W speakers and a 3D Surround Processor.

Ergonomically designed, space isn’t an issue with this device which can be set-up easily either wall-mounted, standalone or close to the TV.

Equipped with wireless connectivity functions, the NB4530A Sound Bar can wirelessly communicate with mobile devices for audio streaming, and can also hook up to the latest LG TVs minus the cables.

The BP730 3D: No Ho-Hum Hub.
Capable of displaying rich and sharp images is the LG Magic Remote-operated BP730 3D Blu-ray Player.
This device comes with Video-On-Demand, allowing the BP730 to acquire content from LG-affiliated providers and boasts wireless connectivity features, so mirroring content from mobile devices shouldn’t be a problem with this Blu-ray player.

And with a powerful dual core processor onboard, playing discs and searching for content online should be a breeze.

The ND8630 is One Desirable Dock.
If there’s one thing the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker will surely be lauded for, it has to be its ability to play well with others.

Compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices, its 80W speaker replenishes the energy of docked devices running low on battery, and can detect and play music from various devices thanks to its wireless connectivity features.

And for some visual effects, a Mood Lamp and Smart Sensor are working together to bring soft lighting to your environment.

Sounds are Good to Go with the NP6630 Wireless Portable Speaker.
As the name implies, wires are not required when connecting mobile devices to the NP6630 Wireless Portable Speaker. And at 20W, it packs enough punch to enhance sounds from smartphones, tablets and laptops.
