It seems that Korean tech giant LG is planning to strengthen its grip on living rooms where it’s already a presence, and take over ones that it hasn’t invaded yet, by unveiling a new line of audio and video products.
LG has just announced the BH9430PW speaker system, NB4530A Sound Bar, BP730 Blu-ray player, the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker and the NP6630 Portable Speaker—all of which are set to appear during CES in in Las Vegas on January 8-11, 2013.
Surrounded By Sound With The BH9430PW
The BH9430PW promises to improve your viewing pleasure by mimicking the sound system you’ll only find, or for a better choice of words, hear in cinemas. This 9.1-channel speaker comes with four multidirectional tallboy speakers that emit powerful audio in various directions, while a 3D Surround Processor makes sure that sound is equally distributed inside a room for everyone to hear. And with Aramid-fiber equipped sound cones, this system is capable of delivering a wide array of clear and undistorted sounds.
If you want to keep things to yourself, this system can bring its sounds straight to a smartphone via Wi-Fi when it’s in Private Sound Mode. And thanks to its NFC technology and iPod dock, the BH9430PW can access content from the Internet and from iPods.
The NB4530A Is A B**b Tube’s Buddy.
Standing at 35mm, the NB4530A Sound Bar connects to your TV through an HDMI ARC port to produce optimum sounds by way of 2.1 channels, 310W speakers and a 3D Surround Processor.
Ergonomically designed, space isn’t an issue with this device which can be set-up easily either wall-mounted, standalone or close to the TV.
Equipped with wireless connectivity functions, the NB4530A Sound Bar can wirelessly communicate with mobile devices for audio streaming, and can also hook up to the latest LG TVs minus the cables.
The BP730 3D: No Ho-Hum Hub.
Capable of displaying rich and sharp images is the LG Magic Remote-operated BP730 3D Blu-ray Player.
This device comes with Video-On-Demand, allowing the BP730 to acquire content from LG-affiliated providers and boasts wireless connectivity features, so mirroring content from mobile devices shouldn’t be a problem with this Blu-ray player.
And with a powerful dual core processor onboard, playing discs and searching for content online should be a breeze.
The ND8630 is One Desirable Dock.
If there’s one thing the ND8630 Dual Docking Speaker will surely be lauded for, it has to be its ability to play well with others.
Compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices, its 80W speaker replenishes the energy of docked devices running low on battery, and can detect and play music from various devices thanks to its wireless connectivity features.
And for some visual effects, a Mood Lamp and Smart Sensor are working together to bring soft lighting to your environment.
Sounds are Good to Go with the NP6630 Wireless Portable Speaker.
As the name implies, wires are not required when connecting mobile devices to the NP6630 Wireless Portable Speaker. And at 20W, it packs enough punch to enhance sounds from smartphones, tablets and laptops.
