A STOP reply that only updates one CRM list is how people still get the next campaign.

If you send on SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and Telegram, keep suppression in your own database. SMSGatewayCenter has no API to add a number to a block list. The dashboard Blocked Numbers feature covers SMS, WhatsApp, and Voice, and it does not cover RCS or Telegram.

Catch STOP from the SMS long-code push and from the three inbox APIs. Check that table on every send. When someone opts out, cancel SMS bookings already waiting with schedule/delete. WhatsApp scheduled marketing cannot be cancelled through the API, so do not book it far ahead.

Keep India’s DND (NCPR) results separate from opt-outs. Different rules, different fixes.

If your product has a "send later" button, the platform schedule is only half the job.

On SMSGatewayCenter, SMS is the channel with a full lifecycle. Add scheduleTime, then list, move, or cancel with the schedule endpoints. The same booking ID shows up as transactionId, uuid, and uuId depending on the call. Keep it as text.

WhatsApp accepts scheduletime and then has no schedule read, update, or delete. Once that request is in, the message goes out at that time.

RCSApi/send and the Telegram send endpoint have no schedule parameter. RCS campaigns can be scheduled in the portal. API integrations send when your own worker says so.

Keep the master schedule in your database. Hand SMS over shortly before it is due, after you have proved which time zone the platform uses. Promotional SMS outside the posting window can sit in Store and Forward until the window reopens.

Running several brands on one messaging platform is an account-boundary decision before it is a code decision.

On SMSGatewayCenter, three resources exist once per account: the SMS wallet, the SMS delivery report webhook, and the Telegram bot. Isolating a budget, a callback, or a Telegram identity means a separate account.

Sender IDs, DLT templates, WhatsApp numbers, and RCS bots can share one account and be chosen on each request.

Team sub-users are separate logins under the main account. Reseller child accounts are real tenants, funded through SMSApi/reseller addcredit and removecredit. SaaS products can also let each customer connect their own account with OAuth.

Credit transfers return no transaction id. Put a unique reference in the comment, and on timeout read the child credit history before you resend.

Contract tests against a third-party messaging API fail for a structural reason: the provider will not replay your Pact file before it ships.

You can still catch the breaks that hurt, on a nightly schedule, without sending a message.

Probe only free read-only calls: code catalogues, rate plan, profile, sender and template reads, RCS bots and analytics, WhatsApp analytics, Telegram templates. Fingerprint shape, not values. Provoke the error branch, because failure often turns an object into an empty array. Diff the two code catalogues as data. Pin known quirks so a quiet fix is flagged too.

Route by severity: additive changes log, narrowing changes fail the release gate, type flips page someone.

Multi-channel attribution fails when you treat every sender as a string called "from."

On SMSGatewayCenter there are five sender units:
• DLT sender ID (SMS)
• WhatsApp Business number
• RCS bot
• The account's single Telegram bot
• Inbound long code plus keyword

Each has its own API, JSON type, and approval model. SMS reports senderName, not senderid. WhatsApp changes number type and spelling across report, inbox, and analytics. RCS reports botName while sends use botId.

A sender registry with a surrogate key and text-stored channel identities is the design that survives all five:

Template management looks shared until the first multi-channel rollout.

On SMSGatewayCenter, SMS DLT, RCS, WhatsApp, and Telegram disagree on placeholders, identity, approval, update behavior, and who renders variables.

Practical takeaways:
• Do not key your database on the string you submitted
• Read back after every create
• Treat RCS/WhatsApp edits as new versions
• Validate DLT typed tags before send
• Normalize approval state in your own registry

If finance asks why credits dropped one way and the invoice reads another, the answer is usually unit mismatch, not a missing message.

On SMSGatewayCenter:
• The wallet speaks credits
• Delivery reports speak currency
• rateplan/read is the only published converter
• SMS, RCS, Telegram, and WhatsApp each expose cost differently
• WhatsApp can bill inbound while hiding per-message outbound cost on the DLR

Build reconciliation on per-message rows, treat submission as the billable event, and keep non-API invoice lines (taxes, seats, subscriptions) separate.

Customer replies are easy to lose when every channel speaks a different inbound contract.

On SMSGatewayCenter:
• SMS pushes to your URL and cannot be read back
• WhatsApp, RCS, and Telegram expose poll-only REST inboxes
• Message bodies are encoded differently per channel
• Inbound identifiers do not join cleanly to outbound sends
• WhatsApp inbox rows can include charges

If you run support, sales follow-ups, or two-way campaigns, design for push and poll together:

WhatsApp looks familiar until you parse the first five responses.

On SMSGatewayCenter, the WhatsApp Business API spans ten operations across WAApi/ and rest/wa/v1/. Media and template are verb-based resources. Send is the envelope outlier. Delivery rows can silently corrupt 19-digit ids in JavaScript. Inbox traffic carries charges you should reconcile.

If you are integrating WABA beside SMS, RCS, or Telegram, read the wire contract first:
https://www.smsgatewaycenter.com/blog/whatsapp-business-api-wire-contract/

Covers envelopes, success codes, media lifecycle, dual template approval, four-channel DLR comparison, and a production checklist.

Telegram messaging looks simple until you bring SMS habits into it.

On SMSGatewayCenter, Telegram runs under one clean base path: rest/tg/v1. You connect one bot per account, address users by chatId, and send through a single /send endpoint that supports multiple message types.

The traps are structural:
• chatId and telegramUserId are different numbers
• /recipients is not a durable audience table
• One identifier shows up under three names
• Error responses can change payload type and break typed clients
• Reconciliation is polling, not a push webhook to your app

Side by side with SMS and RCS delivery rows too:
