Introducing the January 2024 updates to OptiCull (v1.9.0):

🌟 What's New:

⭐️ Display and update assessments on ratings control and with shortcuts.
ℹ️ Make the magi-cull assessment process self-explanatory on the panel.
🤩 Reapply user assessments when re-running magi-cull assessments due to any magi-cull preference changes.
⚙️ Implement a preference to select at least one keeper per scene with attached warning to be reviewed.
💨 Support auto-advancement to the next photo for assessment overrides.
🐞 Fix a bug in auto-advancement to always move to the next photo, regardless of the current filter.
✉️ Display UID on payment screen for getting support.

With all these updates, please use assessments instead of direct rating updates. This will keep the ratings in sync with the assessments and ensure that your overrides take precedence when re-running the magi-cull assessments.

🤖 Custom AI Models (Beta): We've introduced a custom AI model to enhance the accuracy of face detection, especially at longer distances and group shots. To give it a try, head over to Settings → AI and enable Custom AI models.

Current shortcomings with the Custom Model (to be addressed in upcoming releases):
- It may detect unwanted faces in the background, influencing magi-cull assessments.
- Faces looking sideways may be detected, leading to inaccuracies in eye and focus scores.

🔎 Max Zoom Percentage and Toggle: Toggle max zoom using the middle click, shortcut key 'C' or the standard macOS Smart Zoom gestures. Update the max zoom using the dropdown in the toolbar to 50%, 100%, 200%, 300%, or 400%. Or use the standard shortcut keys (CMD =) and (CMD -) to increase/decrease the max zoom. The mouse button number to toggle the max zoom is configurable in the OptiCull settings.

🗑️ Archive Projects: Archive shipped projects to reduce home screen clutter while keeping the project for later use. Hide/show archived projects using the toggle on the home screen. Use the new contextual menu for projects on the home screen and sidebar.
